Hello, beautiful creatures! Today, I’m thrilled to share my creative journey with the Adept Cosmetics Cyborg Choir Palette and the makeup inspiration it sparked within me. This marks my first look using this stunning palette, and I’m particularly excited about showcasing a mesmerizing smoky blue eye look that I haven’t explored in quite some time. This palette offers a wonderful range of shades that can elevate any makeup routine, making it perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions.

BROWS
For my brows, I used the Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Grey for precise definition and the Nyx Thick It! Brow Gel in Cool Ash Brown to provide volume and texture.
EYES
I prepped my eyelids with Danessa Myricks Universal Blurring Balm to ensure a smooth base. For the eyes, I utilized the Adept Cyborg Choir Palette, applying Pixelated Pulse on the lid, 77 in the crease, Boring Circuit in the outer corner, and Digital Harmony in the inner corner. To enhance the look, I added Nyx Quartz Queen and Sapphire Bling eyeliners along the inner corners and lower lash line. I also used Karla Insomnia loose eyeshadow on the inner third of the lid, blended in some Blend Bunny Lure Palette shade called Catch Me, set it with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder under my eyes, and finished with Thrive Brynn Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara for voluminous, fluttery lashes.
FACE
For my complexion, I started with LA Girl Light Instant Finish Tinted Primer as a base. Next, I applied Laura Geller Fair & Medium Baked Balance-n-Brighten Foundation for a flawless finish, followed by Too Faced Candy Clouds Cloud Crush Blurring Blush for a pop of color on my cheeks. I used Karla Insomnia loose eyeshadow as a highlighter to give my skin a radiant glow. Finally, I set everything in place with OneSize On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray and utilized a Purple Mini Fan to dry my face quickly.
LIPS
For my lips, I lined them with Nyx Fierce Flirt Lip Liner Pencil to define the shape and added a touch of HalfMagic Y2k Cherub Magic Drip Lip Gloss for a shiny finish that complements the overall look.
Stylish Outfit of the Day to Complement My Makeup
Today, I’m wearing the stunning Midnight Hour Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Kimono, paired with my favorite BlackMilk Moon Phases Cuffed Pants that I adore for their comfort and style. I accessorized with a handmade Crystal Ball Shoulder Bag that adds a unique touch, along with Black Pointed Toe Shoes for an elegant finish. To complete the look, I wore Betsey Johnson Black Heart Earrings and a Poison Apple Necklace, which features a charm I sourced separately and attached to a vibrant purple chain.
My Black Milk pants are a staple in my wardrobe, particularly for daily wear. I genuinely wear these Moon Phases cuffed pants every week! They are easy to care for, as I simply wash them on a cold cycle and let them air dry, ensuring they maintain their shape and color.
Shop the Midnight Hour Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Kimono Collection
Right now, Midnight Hour is running an exciting 25% off sale! If you’ve been eyeing any of their pieces, now’s the perfect opportunity to grab them at a discount. Below are some of the stunning items from my collection:
- Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Fringe Dress
- Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Kimono
- Black Baby Rib Choker Top
- Black Vintage Shirred Top
- Black Snake Palazzo Pants
- Silver Coiled Snake Necklace
I’ve only worn the dress once, but it’s such a flattering shade against my skin tone. I prefer to use the silver coiled snake necklace as a hair accessory rather than as jewelry, as it adds a creative flair when intertwined in my hair. While the design of the black snake Palazzo Pants is quite appealing, I found the material to be on the thinner side, which unfortunately made it visible under certain lighting. Additionally, the lack of pockets is a downside for me, leading to them being worn less frequently.
The tops and kimono are my go-to choices. They are incredibly comfortable, flattering, and versatile, making them easy to style for various occasions. The kimono/haori is particularly adorable, embellished with a bat pattern. I also own two other velvet haori jackets in similar styles: one from Blackcraft Cult in green velvet and the other featuring a black stars and moons velvet burnout design, which I love to mix and match with my outfits.
