As I browsed through my extensive nail polish collection, I realized that the vibrant nail art showcased in these photos appears far more striking than in reality. Searching for a particularly bright green polish, I found myself sifting through not only well-organized colors but also about 100 miscellaneous bottles from various brands that lacked designated spaces. During this quest, I rediscovered a delightful, mini SCENTED nail polish by Sephora by OPI in the enchanting shade of Watermelon. Remarkably, this polish continues to emit a sweet watermelon scent both during application and for several days thereafter!
Initially, I aimed to locate some cheerful yellow flower water decals for my manicure, but I was pleasantly surprised by how intensely vibrant the Watermelon shade turned out to be. This unexpected brightness led to the creation of a unique manicure that, while not what I originally envisioned, has its own charm and appeal. The combination of colors and designs created a fun and lively aesthetic that stands out beautifully.

To achieve the desired opacity with the Watermelon polish, I found that applying three coats was necessary, which ultimately created a solid and vibrant base. Once I added the floral decals, I felt that the design lacked some depth and contrast. To enhance it further, I decided to incorporate my favorite green polish, Verde from Biosculpture, applying it just on the tips of my nails. This little tweak significantly elevated the overall look, providing a balanced and sophisticated finish to my manicure.
