I’m really sorry if that picture immediately made you hungry. It did the same thing to me.
If you’re a cookie connoisseur, you’ve probably been seeking them out on family vacations for years. And now a third Iowa location is coming, right here in the Corridor. Great American Cookies is on its way. Go ahead, and grab A virtual bite of the Kitchen Sink Cookie (above) or the Pumpkin Spice Cookie (below) and let’s forge ahead.
Great American Cookies
Great American Cookies, home to the original Cookie Cake, opened its first location in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977. All these years later, you can enjoy their wares in the Corridor.

In addition to Cookie Cakes, they have fresh-baked cookies (obviously), like the Red Velvet Stuffed Cookie, with Oreos inside (below).

The news of Great American Cookies’ arrival in the Corridor came at the end of last month, with this announcement:
“In the coming days, you’ll notice the name of this Facebook page will change & that we have a new look. We are rebranding as Nestle Toll House Café by Chip – Coral Ridge, to Great American Cookies, the home of the Original Cookie Cake. We look forward to continuing to serve you fresh-baked treats daily.”
Early this year, Great American Cookies had more than 370 locations in 29 states (and Guam) in the US, as well as in Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
