When Season 3 of the Netflix binge-a-thon “Emily in Paris” dropped just before Christmas – like a guilty pleasure gift – fans got a fashionista eyeful of their favorite characters. While many fans love the cheery brashness of Emily and Mindy, they lap up the effortless, French-woman chic style of Sylvie and Camille.
CNN Underscored recently chatted with lead makeup artist for Season 3, Aurélie Payen, and got the low-down on some of the products used on set to help create the characters’ high-fashion looks. (Can we talk about Emily’s new bangs?)
We’re sharing four of those top products – and where to get them.
#1 Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum – Radiance Boosting Face Serum: Great makeup needs a good skincare base. CNN said: “For (Emily character Lilly) Collins’ skin, Payen would finish with this luxe serum that contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and bifidus prebiotic, which helps balance the skin’s microbiome.”

#3 L’Oreal Paris Infallible Super-Slim Liquid Eyeliner: Slim lines or dramatic eye. Take your pick. Reflecting the adventurous spirit of current trends, Payen translates this into bold, graphic eyeliner for Camille with this precision tip pen.” Where we found it:
#4 La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-Light Fluid Sunscreen SPF 60: Good looks means good skincare. And that starts with protecting skin from the sun’s damaging rays. What CNN said: “Filming during the summer months means sunscreen is a must. Payen opted for this French pharmacy favorite that she says is ‘not heavy on the skin, it’s very soft.’ ” Where we found it:
