    OMG, it has been soooo busy at work these last two weeks! Don’t get me wrong, I love the client aspect of it, but it is the admin side and the constant worry that I have forgotten something that stresses me out! Plus, I find this is the time of year where because things are frantic, staff get messy, forgetful and their brains stop functioning. I will say that it truly is a skill to keep your brain working under stressful periods. Basic math can go out the window or you suddenly forget how to do things you’ve known how to do for years. One thing that I have NOT forgotten to do is to hydrate my lips especially overnight! Don’t you love my super smooth segue?

     
    Like many of us 10 years ago, I have been sucked in, captivated by, in love with, whatever you wanna call it, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask! I had to slow down a bit as a little of this mask really does go a long way, but then they keep coming out with new flavours that are all so delicious!

    This is when Holiday sets like the Laneige Open to Wonder Midnight Minis set is perfect because you get to try a bit of everything without having it take 10 years to finish all of the products!

    In this year’s set, there are two mini Glowy Balms in the flavours: Sweet Candy and Vanilla which are fantastic luscious lip balms. I reviewed them (here) when they first launched in Canada and the consistency is a touch more balmy than the Lip Sleeping Mask, but I think in the realm of lip balms, the Glowy Balms definitely lean on the thicker side.

    Next are my favourites – the Lip Sleeping Masks (review) with this year’s flavours coming in Chocolate, Caramel and Eggnog Latte! OMG All three flavours not only put me in a warm and cozy holiday mood, but they smell absolutely delicious! They all have a slight tint to them so whenever I wear Chocolate, my lips look a little moody, but the other two flavours give a nice, rosy glow to my lips. I love the little pots almost more than the big ones only because I can never use up the big ones in their entirety!

    Final verdict: For just under $30, I don’t hate the price of this holiday set and this year, I really loved all of the flavours! These are all perfect purse/travel size and I want to eat them all!
