It has been some time since I participated in this fun activity, and since I missed my Friday post, I’m excited to share Six on Saturday! These posts help me reflect on the past two weeks while reminding me to appreciate the moments in my life. Often, life races by, and it’s easy to overlook the little joys!
ONE: Every time a client expresses their gratitude for the services I provide, it warms my heart. When they go the extra mile, like sending flowers, it truly brightens my day. I received a lovely bouquet of orchids at my store, and I was curious about who had sent them since such surprises are rare. I briefly entertained the thought of a secret admirer, but thankfully, it was just a thoughtful gesture! I enjoyed the beautiful orchids in my office for the week, as bringing them home would have been risky with my cats around!
TWO: For the past two months, I had been eager to celebrate a significant work achievement. This was the most effort I’ve put into my job in a long time, even working through almost all my days off in March. As a reward for my hard work, I treated myself to a stylish pair of Dior shoes! These elegant pointed flats are part of Dior’s new spring collection, and I am absolutely loving them!
THREE: A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of attending the annual Vancouver Timepiece Show with my husband and a friend. Although there were fewer brands this year, we still had the chance to admire one of my favorites, Isotope. They showcased a stunning watch featuring straw dial marquetry! Each piece of straw is meticulously colored and cut, with the Year of the Snake edition priced at an astonishing $8000 USD! It’s a breathtaking piece, but unfortunately, well beyond my budget!
FOUR: I enjoyed a delightful 15 minutes at a Dior Masterclass, complete with exquisite afternoon tea treats! One highlight was a charming rose crafted with red bean paste from a local bakery, 123Dough Organic Cafe in Vancouver. It was so adorable! I wished I could stay longer, but I was on my lunch break and had to rush back when my client arrived at the store. It was a hectic day, and I likely wouldn’t have enjoyed myself fully anyway with everything going on.

FIVE: I had the opportunity to fully participate in a delightful Dior flower bouquet workshop! I crafted the bouquet shown above, which came in the cutest little clear “purse.” I ended up gifting it to a client for Mother’s Day. I’m quite proud of my creation—what do you think?
I hope everyone is enjoying a fantastic long weekend!
