As an enthusiastic fan of Dragon’s Den, I find myself binge-watching the episodes available on Netflix. Crafted with sustainably sourced sandalwood from Australia and upcycled green cognac, Cherry Ambition is a fragrance that I typically would not have chosen for myself, yet it has pleasantly surprised me! The top notes feature cherry (albeit more subtle than I anticipated), alongside pink pepper, mandarin, and marshmallow. The heart notes include cherry blossom, osmanthus, orris, and saffron, while the base notes consist of vanilla, amber, musk, frankincense, and guaiacwood. In my exploration of these intricate notes, I even discovered some new fragrance terms!

While I am usually not an avid fan of cherry scents, I hesitantly spritzed this fragrance on and was delighted to find it exuded a cozy warmth beyond my expectations. It feels like a sophisticated “upgrade” from my usual vanilla fragrances. Although I question whether owning a 50mL bottle might be excessive given my infrequent use compared to Vanilla Woods, it is undoubtedly a lovely choice for those seeking a confidence boost with a scent that transcends youthful sweetness.

This experience with 7 Virtues also led me to appreciate the packaging. The 50mL bottle features a weighty cap, elegantly stamped with the phrase “Make perfume not war,” alongside the distinctive 7 Virtues logo, which adds a meaningful touch.

Indulge in the Comfort of Vanilla Woods

If you are a lover of vanilla, then Vanilla Woods is your perfect fragrance match! This scent features a delightful top note of pear, a heart note of rose, and base notes composed of vanilla, amber, and caramel, creating a dreamy fragrance experience! It’s sweet yet sophisticated, with a creamy essence that highlights the pear and the comforting warmth of vanilla and caramel. This fragrance brings me a sense of relaxation, comfort, and instant serenity.

The 10mL travel size is ideal for someone like me, who enjoys switching up fragrances regularly. However, I am seriously considering purchasing the full size of this scent, as I find myself wearing it to bed, at work, and just lounging around the house to uplift my mood. It’s easy to see why Vanilla Woods has garnered significant attention and rave reviews online!

While it is fantastic that 7 Virtues products are available at Sephora, I personally prefer to purchase directly from the official 7 Virtues website. They offer an exceptional “Fragrance Try” policy, which allows customers to receive a sample size of the same fragrance with any full-sized purchase. You can use the sample first, and if you love the scent, wonderful! If, however, you find that it does not suit you, you can return the full-size bottle for free within 30 days. They also run sales similar to those at Sephora, and I feel it’s more beneficial to support 7 Virtues directly.

Give 7 Virtues a try, especially Vanilla Woods! I am excited to pick up the Discovery Set so I can explore the other vanilla-based fragrances they offer!
