Hello, Hex Squad! Today, I’m excited to share my graphic blue makeup inspiration with all of you. During my art therapy session last night, I experimented with makeup and crafted a stunning blue look that I can’t wait to unveil. Although I typically shy away from cut creases, my curiosity got the best of me, especially to see how it would complement my oily, deep-set eyes. Additionally, I’ve been honing my skills with Mickey’s layering techniques, applying powder products over cream to create a more multidimensional complexion. Below, I’ve included detailed instructions on how to recreate this look!

BROWS
For my brows, I used the Flower Beauty Plum Cream and Chrome pencil, which is cruelty-free, paired with Nyx Clear The Brow Glue, a vegan option.
EYES
To start with my eyes, I applied the Devinah Prelusion eyeshadow primer (vegan) and let it set for a minute. Next, I used Nyx Sapphire Bling Vivid Rich mechanical pencil (vegan) to line my lower lash line, extending it toward the end of my brow. I then created a curving wave line from my inner crease to the brow’s end. With a stiff detail brush, I smudged Blend Bunny Lure Palette shades, specifically The Deep on top of Sapphire Bling. Using another small detail brush, I blended Blend Bunny Sea Nymph into the top edge of The Deep, blending upward towards my brow. A small fluffy brush helped me apply Natasha Denona Contrail to soften the edges of Sea Nymph. To perfect the crease, I used Urban Decay Eden primer with a small lip brush underneath The Deep. Then, I tapped Adept Cyborg Choir shade Binary Beat onto my lid with my finger and used a silicone brush for the inner corner and between the winged liners. For my upper lash line, I used Stila Marine Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (LE) and finished with Covergirl Ultramarine Black Lash Blast Cleantopia Ultramarine Mascara after curling my lashes.
FACE
Starting with the Elf Power Grip primer (vegan), I allowed it to set before applying Rare Beauty Bright Side Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick (vegan) along the perimeter of my face, blending for a natural look. I then added Persona Bubble Dreamstick Cream Blush (vegan) to the apples of my cheeks, blending it in with my fingertips. For highlights, I used Jason Wu Opal Highlighter Stick (vegan) in a C shape around my eyes and down the center of my forehead and nose. Using a stippling motion, I applied a thin layer of Monika Blunder Eins Blunder Cover All in One Foundation (vegan), followed by a damp sponge to remove excess product. I used Laura Geller Fair and Medium Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder Foundation (cruelty-free) around my face’s perimeter. For blush, I applied Too Faced Candy Clouds Cloud Crush Blush (cruelty-free) and REM Pinking of U Hypernova Satin Matte Blush (vegan) using the IT Brushes Soft Focus Blush Brush. Finally, I highlighted the high points of my face with KimchiChic Beauty Double Diamonds (blue side) and Blackmoon Catshark Moonlighter (vegan) before setting everything with OneSize On Til Dawn Spray (vegan).
LIPS
For my lips, I outlined them with Half-Magic Beauty Honestly, Yes Sculptitude 2-in-1 Lip Liner (vegan) before tapping Danessa Myricks It Girl Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed (vegan) onto my lips with my fingertip for a soft finish. To add a glossy touch, I finished with Half-Magic Y2k Cherub Magic Drip Glitter Lip Gloss (vegan).

In-Depth Review of IT Brushes Soft Focus Blush Brush
The IT Brushes Soft Focus Blush Brush is an absolute gem! I often purchase my IT Brushes from Ulta whenever they’re on sale, and this brush, typically priced at $26, is one of my favorites. It excels at applying a soft, sheer layer of blush, which is perfect for someone like me who tends to be heavy-handed.
