My collection of lip products seems to shift continuously, ranging from nourishing oils to classic chapsticks and rich balms! Some days, a matte liquid lipstick feels as comfortable as wearing cozy sweatpants, while on others, my lips seem parched and neglected due to dryness. Recently, for the past two weeks, my lips have been exceptionally dry, prompting me to explore my lip care collection and rediscover the wonders of Lano lip products!
Â
For a brief period a few years back, Lanolips dominated the beauty conversations everywhere! This Australian brand creates its unique products using lanolin, a natural substance sourced from sheep raised by dedicated Australian farmers. Renowned for its extraordinary hydrating properties, lanolin closely resembles the skin’s natural oils, facilitating healing and even aiding in the treatment of minor burns. I understand that lanolin can cause allergic reactions for some individuals; however, I’m fortunate to enjoy these lip products without experiencing any swelling. I wanted to mention this for those of you who may have sensitivities!

All-in-One Multipurpose Superbalm*
Although I didn’t manage to capture a product shot of the Multipurpose Superbalm, it’s the light pink tube that has become iconic for the brand. This versatile balm is designed for use anywhere that demands intense hydration. The balm’s consistency is remarkably thick, making it a bit of a challenge to dispense from the tube; however, warming the product between your fingers before application makes it much easier to work with. This incredible formulation is known to retain 200% of its weight in moisture, making it perfect as an overnight lip mask. With this product, you can expect to wake up with lips as soft as a baby’s!
My Final Thoughts on These Lip Products: While I genuinely enjoy using both of these products, I must add that I don’t utilize them every day due to their thick and dense formulations. My lips don’t always require such intense moisture; however, with the recent dry weather, I have found myself reaching for these nourishing balms more often than usual!Â
You can find a wide selection of Lanolips products at www.lanolips.com. Although Lano is no longer available at Sephora, their official website does ship to Canada, making it accessible for all!
