Since the launch of Revlon Unicornicopia in 2017, I received this nail polish at a London Drugs event. Now, I’m finally trying it out! Summer evokes nostalgia, making it the perfect time to explore my collection of untried polishes from years past. This journey will be particularly enjoyable for those of you who have cherished nail polish for the last 15 years!

Unicornicopia is a linear lavender holographic nail polish. While it delivers a lovely shade, it lacks the intense holographic rainbow effect found in brands like Holo Taco. The swatches you see were taken with a ring light, which doesn’t capture the holo’s full brilliance. This polish has a thinner formula. Although I applied two coats for these images, I recommend applying a third coat, as I noticed visible nail line (VNL) in certain lighting. Despite this, Unicornicopia remains an appealing spring color. It could serve as a base layer beneath another polish for added contrast, though it isn’t my top choice for a pronounced holographic effect.
