My delightful staycation has come to an end, and I must say, it was a week filled with sunshine and binge-watching Bridgerton! As a newcomer to the series, I immersed myself in seasons 1 and 2, followed by Queen Charlotte, and now I’m just two episodes away from completing season 3! The journey has been a whirlwind of emotions, from romance to drama, and I find myself wanting to relive every moment once I finish. I never thought I could enjoy a new couple after the enchanting Daphne and Simon, but I must admit, Kanthony has captured my heart!
Throughout my staycation, I focused primarily on enjoying Bridgerton rather than indulging in elaborate nail art designs, resulting in a week filled with swatches. However, I’m eager to dive back into creativity for this coming #ManiMonday. I’m considering crafting a summer-themed nail art pattern, perhaps inspired by a serene beach scene. I recognize the importance of preparing a few designs in advance, as my creativity often dwindles once I return to work. The exhaustion I experience—physically, mentally, and creatively—after the workweek can be overwhelming, leaving me to wonder if a different job would yield a different outcome. To combat this fatigue, I believe that incorporating short breaks into my schedule could be beneficial to prevent burnout. After three months without a respite, I found myself feeling restless just days before my vacation. While I could certainly use a bit more time to recharge, I feel ready to tackle work again, especially since I prefer to ease back into the week by returning at the end of it rather than facing a stressful Monday.
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend filled with relaxation and joy!
