I’ve been pleasantly surprised by many of the products inside, and I’m considering purchasing one of them in FULL SIZE due to my enjoyment of it!

I was unfamiliar with YC Collection, a Puerto Rican brand that emphasizes quality and affordability in makeup. Their focus on delivering excellent products without breaking the bank is commendable, and I’m eager to see how this highlighter performs in my makeup routine.

The Creamsicle shade imparts a stunning rose-gold glow to the high points of my face, blending effortlessly and gliding smoothly. The texture is incredibly lightweight, avoiding that dreaded overdone appearance or accentuation of skin texture. I find it delightful to apply on my brow bone, cheekbones, and the tip of my nose, adding a lovely touch of luminosity. I received the full size valued at $18 USD.

It leaves a slight tacky finish but enhances my foundation application, allowing my makeup to last longer throughout the day while reducing oiliness. Despite being a newcomer to eye creams, I’ve recently noticed dryness beneath my eyes, so I now welcome all options! Dallas & James is a boutique skincare brand that harnesses the power of watermelon and cloudberry extract in their formulations. They avoid synthetic fragrances, silicones, artificial dyes, and alcohol, resulting in a subtly pink, pleasantly watermelon-scented eye cream that feels genuinely “honest.” Typically, products with such characteristics are laden with artificial ingredients, but this one is refreshing and authentic! Its smooth texture makes it perfect for use under makeup, filling in lines caused by dryness. I received a deluxe sample valued at $12.13 USD.

Having previously enjoyed Korres skincare, I anticipated this moisturizer to be exceptional, and it did not disappoint! Enriched with prebiotics and probiotics, this moisturizer promotes a healthy skin microbiome, which is essential for maintaining skin health. Achieve Smooth Skin with Mi-el Skincare’s Honey Infused Sugar Scrub

I was unfamiliar with this brand, but the story behind Mi-el is truly inspiring. Co-founder Laura’s experiences as a competitive gymnast led her to create a line of high-performance body care products aimed at preventing ingrown hairs caused by shaving and wearing bodysuits. This sugar scrub is dense and effective, ensuring a smooth shave and preventing ingrowns. The scrub’s thick consistency makes it a challenge to dispense, but the full-size product comes in a jar for easy scooping. Featuring a light citrus scent, I would definitely purchase this if it were more accessible in Canada, as I love dense scrubs! I received a deluxe sample valued at $5.04 USD.

Final Verdict: Taking the exchange rate into consideration, the August Ipsy Glam Bag was valued at $84.11 CDN, significantly more than the $28.33 CDN (including shipping) that I paid. I genuinely enjoyed this Glam Bag and discovered a primer I want in full size! The diverse range of products exceeded my expectations, especially since I missed the window to choose ONE product. This month was an exciting surprise!
