As July wraps up, we find ourselves at the midpoint of summer, which is simply incredible! My July Ipsy Glam Bag arrived remarkably quickly—one whole week ahead of my neighbor! This month’s bag features some exciting new products that I’ve been trying out and genuinely enjoying. Let’s dive into the details and explore what’s inside!
Revitalize Your Skin with First Aid Beauty | Bronze + Glow Drops Featuring Niacinamide

I just realized that last month I also received a fantastic First Aid Beauty product, and I couldn’t be happier! These bronzing glow drops should be applied sparingly as a final touch in your skincare routine or mixed in with your moisturizer for that coveted sunkissed glow. The inclusion of niacinamide high on the ingredient list makes it a unique hybrid of makeup and skincare.
I’ve been using these drops regularly, and even though it’s only 8mL, a little goes a long way, so this should last me several weeks! At first glance, the swatch may seem overwhelming, but the texture is almost liquid-like, allowing for effortless blending. The resulting glow is subtly bronzy, and I am completely on board with it! I would definitely consider purchasing the full size! I received a deluxe mini size valued at $7.56 USD.

Experience Hydration with Catano Beauty | Lip Glaze in Blush
At first, I underestimated this Catano Beauty lipgloss, but once I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised by its plush texture and high shine! It boasts a delightful sweet vanilla scent and delivers significant shine with just a hint of pink on the lips without any sticky residue. The pink tone is subtle, making it an ideal blend of lipstick and lipgloss, as it doesn’t drastically alter your base lip color. I received a deluxe mini size valued at USD.
Cleanse Effectively with Real Chemistry | Fresh Start Foaming Cleanser
Enhance Your Eyes with Lithe Beauty | Versatile Night & Day Eyeshadow Palette
I selected this Lithe Beauty product for its neutral color palette, which includes both matte and shimmer options. The swatches are impressive, and I appreciate the compact size of the palette, which comfortably fits in the palm of my hand! While the shadows might not be the softest, the color payoff is commendable, making this palette a perfect addition to my current makeup routine. I received the full size product valued at $32 USD.

Final Verdict: Considering the current exchange rates, the total value of July’s Ipsy Glam Bag is approximately $109.11 CDN, significantly outweighing the $28 CDN (including shipping) I spent. However, I must say that the full-size makeup brush priced at $26 USD doesn’t seem to justify its cost. Although I enjoyed the eyeshadow palette, I feel the $32 USD price is somewhat inflated. Overall, it’s a nice bag, but I would estimate its true value to be about half of that in CDN.
