This was my first encounter with Real Chemistry, and as a cleanser enthusiast, I was eager to test this foaming variety. My primary concern was whether it would leave my skin feeling “squeaky” clean, a sensation I dislike. Thankfully, this fragrance-free cleanser managed to effectively remove all my makeup, including stubborn waterproof products, as part of my double cleansing routine. The texture is thick, so you only need a small amount mixed with water to create a lather. While it performed adequately, I found it to be quite basic and wouldn’t seek it out even if it were available in Canada. I received a deluxe sized mini valued at $3 USD.

Despite my aversion to double-sided makeup brushes, which can be difficult to store without damaging one side, I found the functionality of this brush quite appealing. The smaller end is perfect for precision tasks, such as blending eyeliner, while the larger end provides an excellent option for applying an all-over wash of color to the eyelids and seamless blending. I selected this Lithe Beauty product for its neutral color palette, which includes both matte and shimmer options. The swatches are impressive, and I appreciate the compact size of the palette, which comfortably fits in the palm of my hand! While the shadows might not be the softest, the color payoff is commendable, making this palette a perfect addition to my current makeup routine. I received the full size product valued at $32 USD.

Final Verdict: Considering the current exchange rates, the total value of July’s Ipsy Glam Bag is approximately $109.11 CDN, significantly outweighing the $28 CDN (including shipping) I spent. However, I must say that the full-size makeup brush priced at $26 USD doesn’t seem to justify its cost. Although I enjoyed the eyeshadow palette, I feel the $32 USD price is somewhat inflated. Overall, it’s a nice bag, but I would estimate its true value to be about half of that in CDN.
