It’s that time of year again! In the past, I experimented with a variety of sunscreens during the summer months. I’ve decided to cut back on unnecessary expenses associated with blogging. This change comes after realizing that several sunscreens I purchased expired before I could use them. While I still enjoy using certain products as makeup primers, like those from Supergoop, I strive to finish my current supplies before adding new ones. I’m pleased to report that I’ve successfully emptied one of the sunscreens highlighted in today’s review!
JUMISO | Waterfull Hyaluronic Cooling Sun Stick SPF 50+ PA++++*
Previously, I shared a mini review (here) of the Jumiso sunscreen last summer, and it remains my go-to for touch-ups! This product features a lightweight, balmy consistency that doesn’t disrupt makeup application. It has a subtle fragrance, and I use it on both my face and body. The stick glides on smoothly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated, and true to its name, it provides a cooling sensation reminiscent of cooling eyeshadow sticks.
SKOAH | Dewlux Lotion SPF 30
Last summer, I featured Skoah’s Hydradew Mask (here), and I have returned to this favorite moisturizer/sunscreen combo. This MINERAL sunscreen offers a delightful melon fragrance and blends seamlessly into the skin, feeling more like a lightweight moisturizer. For those with dry skin, I recommend applying a regular moisturizer before using this Dewlux Lotion as your sunscreen.
One common concern with mineral sunscreens is the potential for a white cast. Unfortunately, this product does leave a noticeable white cast, even on my fair skin. I prefer to use it underneath foundation. I believe this sunscreen would appeal to the Asian/KBeauty enthusiasts due to its lightweight texture and “brightening” effects. the SPF level seems lower than the usual SPF 50 we often seek, which might impact its texture.
NAKED SUNDAYS | CabanaCreme Hydrating Moisturizer and Sun Protection SPF 50
My interest in Australian sunscreens began with Ultra Violette, and last fall, I discovered the Australian brand Naked Sundays at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. I decided to try their now-discontinued moisturizer with sunscreen. The packaging is perfect for social media, which adds to its appeal. More importantly, the texture is hydrating enough that I can use it as a moisturizer. It layers beautifully with my morning Vitamin C serum and foundation. There’s no added fragrance. Although this product is discontinued, there are several appealing alternatives, like the CabanaClear Water Gel Serum. While I might consider purchasing another Naked Sundays sunscreen, I hesitate because Korean options are often more affordable and provide similar SPF protection.
LA ROCHE POSAY | Anthelios Ultra Fluide Invisible Finish SPF 50*
Anthelios is a timeless summer skincare staple! I’ve been hearing about this sunscreen line since I started beauty blogging, and it remains iconic for a good reason. The version I’m showcasing here is designed for the body, while I have previously featured the facial version and loved it (here). Be sure to shake the bottle well; the texture is truly fluid, so handle with care to prevent spills! It’s incredibly lightweight, making it ideal for those who dislike the sticky feeling of typical sunscreens on arms and legs. This product features a dry-touch finish and is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin.
ISNTREE | Natural Sun Cream SPF 50 PA++++
After seeing numerous positive reviews online, I decided to try this product. While it feels delightful on its own, it didn’t mesh well with my morning skincare routine, resulting in pilling when applied over my vitamin C serum. The texture is dry touch, falling somewhere between a cream and a fluid. If I had a different vitamin C serum or foundation, I think my experience would have been different. it was simpler to move on from this sunscreen than to change my other products.
And that’s the sunscreen roundup for 2026! This is one post I’ve consistently maintained since 2018, and just when I think I’ve exhausted all sunscreen options, new products continue to emerge!
