November is THE month that many shoppers have marked in their diaries – and all in part to the shopping event that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Whilst Black Friday doesn’t kick off till November 25, we’ve spotted some retailer events like the Boots Black Friday sale (opens in new tab) have already begun dishing out the discounts on fragrances like Chanel, Versace, Lancome, Marc Jacobs, YSL and Calvin Klein. Black Friday (opens in new tab) this year officially falls on November 25, 2022. The annual shopping event always falls on the day after Thanksgiving in the USA, which is the fourth Thursday in November.
What was once a US-only event has evolved into a global event, with most brands and retailers offering deals and money off now worldwide. Some companies have even started their Black Friday sales early this year, giving loyal customers even longer to snap up a great deal.
When is Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday (opens in new tab) 2022 takes place on November 28. It’s promoted as an online-only version of Black Friday and subsequently falls on the first Monday after Black Friday and capping off a weekend of price cuts.
It’s always worth checking back in on deals offered by retailers this day – with big names like Amazon, Currys, Boots, John Lewis and more all getting in on the action. Sometimes deals previously seen on Black Friday have further price reductions to snap up on Cyber Monday too!
Will perfume be cheaper on Black Friday?

Is there a Chanel perfume sale on Black Friday?
Being a very popular and luxury brand, means that Chanel perfume deals are very few and far between. You certainly won’t find the Chanel site itself having a Black Friday sale – but it’s always worth shopping around at perfume sites like Boots, The Fragrance Shop and Look Fantastic to see if they’ve included a Chanel number in their Black Friday fragrance deals.
We’ve actually spotted a rare Chanel perfume deal in an early Black Friday offer from Boots (opens in new tab). Whilst it’s nothing substantial, it’ll still save you a tennis on one of their most famous fragrances.

There’s been a number of new perfume releases in the last couple of years – woth tried and tested favorite perfume brands like Marc Jacobs offering up new Perfect – a playful and floral scent with juicy notes of rhubarb that will be a hit with fans of his Daisy Perfume range. Similarly Giorgio Armani hs presented new My Way; a pretty perfume with a bouquet of bergamia, citrus blossoms, white flowers, jasmine, tuberose, musk and vanilla.
What were the Black Friday perfume deals like last year?
If the 2021 Black Friday perfume deals are anything to go by – we’re in for a treat in 2022. Last year we saw offers on everything from high-end fragrance (Tom Ford, Lancome, Dior) to more affordable options from DKNY and Hugo Boss, plus perfume deals on bottles designed by our favorite celebrities – Sarah Jessica Parker and Britney Spears.
One of the biggest savings from last year we saw was on Vera Wang’s Princess perfume which boasted a huge 57% off. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for similar savings like this to be had in the 2022 Black Friday sale – to save you the time and energy.
