The Holiday season is kicking my butt. Though my past blog post was seven days ago, I haven’t actually sat down to write anything in over two weeks. I have been really hustling at work as I have set a crazy goal for myself this season so we shall see at the end of the month if my efforts have paid off!

I had planned on using some of my days off to write, but we noticed my kitty, Harper, wasn’t feeling well the other day and she is NEVER sick so I have been concerned. She started using the litterbox more than usual so we think it is a UTI, but it was stressful trying to get a urine sample from her as she would NOT have it. The vet and I felt that with the sudden onset and the increasing discomfort she was visibly in, a 7-day course of antibiotics was best just to alleviate the symptoms and *hopefully* the bacteria causing this!

I kind of like that Dior’s Holiday nail polish collection is more compact now with just two polishes complementing a much larger makeup and gift collection! The theme for this year is “Circus of Dreams” so this year’s two polishes are: Plum Parade (a dark, deep sophisticated purple) and Gold Circus (a pink-based multi-coloured glitter).

While Gold Circus is a fairly opaque glitter, it still left a little bit of VNL, so I layered it on top of Plum Parade for a “Milky Way” effect. I thought it looked kind of chic, especially when I was taking jewelry photos for work like for this Birks Beekeeper Necklace with diamonds!

We are now past the halfway point of December so I hope everyone is doing OK, staying healthy inside and out! I am all about my vitamin C intake right now (along with my chocolate intake, of course)!
