This Christmas season has truly become a remarkable celebration for countless reasons, primarily because after enduring two challenging years, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. A particularly difficult and unprofessional employee, whom I have encountered throughout my two decades in the workforce, has officially retired as of last Thursday. The departure of this individual marks a significant turning point, allowing us to transition into a more positive and collaborative environment.

The collective sense of relief among my colleagues is palpable, and it feels as though we can genuinely enjoy the holiday spirit with our team, free from the shadows of past negativity. For quite some time, I faced considerable stress, striving to maintain my composure as this person attempted to undermine my position. Thankfully, the head office recognized my contributions, ensuring that my pristine record remained intact. Now, I feel a renewed sense of purpose and motivation, ready to embrace new opportunities and challenges ahead!

This manicure is elegantly simple, as I wanted to showcase the exquisite beauty of Dior’s Soir de Bal nail polish. Although this shade leans towards a more sophisticated aesthetic that I typically wouldn’t choose, the limited edition aspect was too enticing to resist! The color features a warm cinnamon red-brown hue, complemented by a subtle sparkle that truly catches the light, and is opaque with just one coat—though I always prefer to apply two for an even more polished finish. To add a festive touch, I incorporated Kiss snowflake decals along with dotted white polish to mimic snowflakes, cleverly utilizing the negative space for a chic effect.

While I believe Soir de Bal could have stood out beautifully on its own, I look forward to wearing it again in the future! The formula performed wonderfully, and I would definitely choose this for occasions when I desire a neutral look with just the right amount of flair and elegance.
