Contract manufacturer Fillcon has been awarded the Soil Association Organic and Cosmos Organic / Natural approvals.
Fillcon is a UKAS ISO9001 accredited cosmetic focused contract liquid filler and manufacturer of sachets, tubes, spouted pouches and bottles.

Richard Auty, managing director, said with the UK Organic skincare market seeing growth of 15% in 2021, it “was obvious” that Fillcon required these approvals as brands will to need sampling and smaller retail runs.

He added that organic approvals allow Fillcon to handle certified organic bulk liquids whilst manufacturing as part of the certified organic production process.

“Clients that may have previously been required to look for alternative fillers with organic approval can now be confident that Fillcon can support their needs for both non-organic and organic ranges as well as sample size up to retail size.”

Of the company’s progress, he said: “This year has been extremely exciting for us; we’ve achieved significant growth within the cosmetic, health and beauty sector and with these organic approvals it will enable us to further penetrate the market.”
