Explore the Vibrant Swatches of Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams

The above swatch photo was taken outdoors in direct sunlight, showcasing the gorgeous iridescent shimmer of the Half-Magic Beauty Magic Drip Glitter Lip Gloss in Frosty B*tch. I was initially drawn to this gloss because of its catchy name, but my curiosity about its unique formula also played a big role in my purchase.

The swatch image displayed above was captured indoors under indirect natural light, allowing the vibrant shades of the Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams to shine. The swatches, from left to right, include: Self Help (true red), Excuse Me Sir (cobalt), Angel Rave (lilac violet), Invoice Attached (neon hot pink), Mr. Chic-y Pants (warm beige), and Frosty B*tch gloss (icy peach with multi-colored reflects).
Unveiling the Magic of Frosty B*tch Magic Drip Glitter Lip Gloss
Spoiler alert: I have become a huge fan of the Frosty B*tch Magic Drip Glitter Lip Gloss. The iridescent sparkles are absolutely mesmerizing, and I find the soft peach shade incredibly flattering on my lips. One of the best things about this gloss is its non-sticky formula, which glides on smoothly without the worry of it feeling heavy or goopy. The design of the applicator ensures a controlled amount dispenses, so there’s no chance of excess product making a mess.
While I appreciate the look of lip gloss, I have had negative experiences with older formulas that often ended up all over my face, teeth, and even in my hair if the wind picked up! Therefore, I have become quite picky with glosses over the years.
Some of my top lip glosses include Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss, the now-discontinued Marc Jacobs Beauty glosses, Aromaleigh Lip Glosses, and Silk Naturals Slicker Sticks, which provide a unique gloss/balm hybrid experience in a convenient tube. I gravitate towards non-sticky formulas that stay in place and don’t migrate across my face.
Experience the Comfort of the Lipstick Formula
The texture of the Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams is delightfully soft, resembling a mousse-gel feel upon application. To achieve the perfect look, I always recommend using a lip pencil to outline your lips before applying any lipstick. This technique ensures an even and defined shape, enhancing the overall appearance. Throughout the day, the lip cream remains comfortable, allowing you to wear it without any discomfort.
The soft blurred matte finish of these lip creams is stunning and creates a polished look, even when worn alone. I often love to enhance my lip looks further by layering on a multichrome eyeshadow from Karla Cosmetics for added dimension and sparkle. This formula draws comparisons to the Kaleidos Cloud Lab Lip Clays and Nyx Smooth Whip Matte Lip Creams, but I consistently find myself reaching for the Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams over others in my extensive collection. The comfort they provide is simply unmatched, and the shade Invoice Attached is a breathtakingly bright addition!
That said, I have noticed that they can leave a mark if I kiss someone on the cheek. To minimize this transfer, I suggest blotting and dusting with powder.
Strategies to Minimize Lipstick Transfer
While I love the wear of these lip creams, I do find myself needing to touch up after meals, and they can transfer to my cup while drinking. Here are some effective tips to help mitigate most of the transfer:
- Start by outlining your lips with a matching or slightly deeper lip pencil for a defined look.
- Apply the Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Cream evenly across your lips.
- Using a single ply of tissue, gently place it over your lipstick.
- Dust a light layer of translucent loose setting powder onto your lips through the tissue.
Stunning Makeup Look Featuring Half-Magic Invoice Attached Mouth Cloud

For this stunning look, I used the Buxom Recharged Ruby Powerline plumping lip liner, followed by the Half-Magic Invoice Attached mouth cloud, and completed the look with Karla Drama Queen eyeshadow (use code CORDELIA to save!).

I absolutely adore how a deep, vivid blue like Excuse Me Sir enhances my skin tone and eyes! For this look, I outlined my lips with the now-discontinued KVD Poe lip pencil. If you’re looking for alternatives, I recommend Nyx Saw a Ghost Pepper, Nyx Jet Set, or Half-Magic Watch Me Fly and Try to Stop Me. I then filled in my lips entirely with the Half-Magic Beauty Excuse Me, Sir Mouth Cloud, and it turned out to be such a stunning shade of blue!
In-Depth Review of Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams

Initially, my experience with the Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams was less than stellar. I began with the shades Angel Rave (lilac violet) and Mr. Chic-y Pants (warm beige). To my surprise, Angel Rave appeared much more muted and lighter than I anticipated, while Mr. Chic-y Pants turned out to be a rather unflattering orange against my skin tone.
However, I decided to give this formula another shot when I ordered Invoice Attached (neon hot pink). To my delight, I fell in love with this shade! It was the perfect match for my skin tone, and the formula exceeded my expectations. This positive experience encouraged me to explore other shades like Excuse Me Sir (cobalt blue) and Self Help (true red) within the Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams line.
After discovering the beauty of Invoice Attached, I noticed how well it wore throughout the day, delivering a gorgeous finish and an incredibly comfortable feel. The shade Edward’s Fantasy (red wine) is now on my wish list, and I dream of seeing even deeper shades like black and violet added to this fantastic formula.
This lip cream formula closely resembles a bullet lipstick rather than a liquid lipstick, meaning touch-ups throughout the day are necessary. However, the stunning colors and delightful finish make the effort worthwhile! My personal favorites from this collection remain Invoice Attached and Excuse Me Sir, as they truly stand out!
Based on my experiences, I can confidently say that the Half-Magic Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Creams live up to their claims, earning a perfect 5 out of 5 rating!
