Have you ever gazed at your hands and wished for a rejuvenating upgrade? Are they in need of becoming smoother, softer, or less red? Do your hands reflect the stories of your age?
Throughout your day, your hands come into contact with a myriad of chemicals and harsh elements. They endure temperature changes while washing dishes, and they often tremble as you fumble with your keys at the door.
My fingers constantly tap away on the keyboard, sort through piles of paperwork, and rummage through files. In the evenings, they are busy whipping up dinner; on weekends, they are exposed to various cleaning agents while tidying up the house, and during my leisure time, they often get sweaty from exercise sessions like Pilates or weightlifting at the gym.
It’s clear that our hands are tirelessly working, and they undoubtedly deserve some serious pampering and attention!
The good news? We have a quick and effective hand treatment you can easily perform at home as often as necessary, based on how dry your skin feels. The best part is, you can utilize many of the products you likely already own from Katherine Daniels. We believe that our products should be multi-functional, working as hard as you do!
Step 1 – Revitalize Your Skin with Exfoliation
Start by using Gentle Oil & Salt Exfoliator. Apply a 5p piece size of the product onto the back of your hands, your palms, and along each finger and thumb. This exfoliating treatment will effectively lift away dry, dead skin cells, allowing subsequent products to absorb more efficiently. The result? Instantly revitalized and softer skin!
Step 2 – Rinse Away the Exfoliation
Gently rinse your hands under warm running water to wash away the salt. Avoid using soap or handwash, as the essential oils in the product will significantly enhance the benefits of your treatment. After rinsing, pat your hands dry with a clean towel.
Step 3 – Nurture Your Hands with Moisture
Next, grab Nurturing Night Balm. Dispense one pump of the balm for each hand and massage it into the backs of your hands, your palms, and along each finger and thumb. Don’t forget about your cuticles; they will greatly benefit from this nourishing product. Massage until no oily residue remains on your skin.
Step 4 – Repair and Restore
Now, apply Repairing Nourishing Mask. Generously layer this product over the Nurturing Night Balm on the back of each hand and along each finger and thumb. Aim for a 20p piece size of the mask for each hand.
Step 5 – Cocoon for Maximum Absorption
Take some cling film and carefully wrap each hand (this might be a bit tricky with your other hand, but it’s worth it!). This step is crucial as it helps keep the product in close contact with your skin. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes, letting all the nourishing ingredients soak in, and imagine how fabulous your hands will feel once they are smooth and soft.
Step 6 – Let It Absorb
After the time is up, carefully remove the cling film. Allow the Repairing Nourishing Mask to absorb into your skin for 5 minutes. After that, massage in any remaining mask and rinse your hands under warm running water. Again, avoid using soap or handwash, and press dry with a clean towel.
Step 7 – Nourish & Hydrate for Lasting Softness
Finally, take some Nourishing Hydrating Balm. Massage this into the back of your hands, your palms, and along each finger and thumb, using a 5p piece size for each hand. Always remember that your cuticles deserve tender care as well!
Step 8 – Celebrate Your Beautiful Hands
Congratulations! You now possess soft, smooth, and utterly delightful hands. Embrace the beauty of your nourished and hydrated hands with a cheerful ‘hello’!
Don’t forget to share your newfound hand care secrets with your friends and compliment their hands when you see them next! A simple compliment can go a long way in brightening someone’s day.
