Why do Koreans have such beautiful skin?
It’s all in the routine. K-beauty is all above natural, relaxing rituals that make you and your skin comfortable. They prep the way for skincare actives like retinol, Vitamin C or ceramides.
One of our favorite Korean beauty tools is this little gadget for gua sha massage. This is a traditional, ancient Chinese massage you might have tried with a Jade roller or tool – but there’s a tech option too!

I know, most of the Western world turned against scrubbing a while ago (thanksSt. Ives!) but a little gentle massage to clean those pores never hurt anyone – and can be a lot less invasive than the popular acids used nowadays in skincare.
For the cleaning step in my Korean skincare routine, I go for micellar water followed by this ultrasonic scrubber – a way more affordable gadget than a Foreo, for example.
This ultrasonic scrubber is small but surprisingly powerful. The stainless steel tip that can remove even the most annoying blackheads.
