When I was selecting pillows, White Lotus Home kindly sent me three different options to try. Their team was incredibly supportive throughout the decision-making process, guiding me through various options and asking insightful questions to ensure I chose the best pillow for my sleep style.
Ultimately, I chose the Shredded Latex pillow for my husband, a 100% cotton option for myself, and Kapok pillows for my kids.
- Shredded Latex Pillow – My husband absolutely adores this pillow! As a side sleeper, he prefers a balance of softness with supportive firmness. The shredded latex pillow is perfect for him, and he claims it’s the best pillow he’s ever owned! It has a substantial weight akin to a down pillow. The customizable fill feature from White Lotus Home is a game-changer; it allows us to adjust the latex fill to his preference. After trying it myself, I found it to be wonderfully supportive yet fluffy. Although I initially selected the 100% organic cotton pillow for myself, I now lean towards the shredded latex for my personal use. - 100% Organic Cotton – This was my original choice. It provides firmer support than the shredded latex option, making it ideal for stomach sleepers. While I don’t sleep on my stomach, I appreciate a moderate firmness. Before transitioning to this pillow, I used two pillows. I opted for a medium fill, knowing I could always adjust it later. Initially, it felt quite firm, so I removed some cotton fill, which significantly improved my comfort. The zippered case feature is incredibly convenient, allowing me to tailor the fill to my liking. - Kapok – An excellent choice for side or back sleepers. It feels light and molds to the head over time, offering a softer sensation compared to cotton. We received a travel-sized kapok pillow, perfect for my toddler. Additionally, kapok pillows are budget-friendly compared to the other options. Explore the Kapok pillows here!
As I mentioned, my daughter is using the Organic Cotton and Wool Dreamton Mattress, and we are thrilled with it! It’s soft, durable, and perfect for toddlers, as it doesn’t require a box spring.
