As I reflect on my experience with the November Ipsy Glam Bag in February 2025, I can’t help but share the unusual delay caused by the Canada Post strike, which resulted in my bag arriving just last month! Initially, I was skeptical about ever receiving it. However, fate intervened when my husband received a notification about a package for himself via Canada Post’s Flexdelivery. To my surprise, when he arrived at the post office, he discovered an additional package addressed to me. It turned out to be my long-awaited Glam Bag! Although I usually receive notifications, it seems that some packages fell through the cracks during the transition back to work for Canada Post. I also have the December Ipsy Glam Bag awaiting review, which arrived concurrently, but I’ve decided to pause my subscription temporarily to focus on using up some products and saving money, especially with the current unfavorable exchange rate for US dollars.

The scent of this cleanser is subtly delightful, offering a light floral aroma that is both refreshing and calming. Formulated with blueberry extract, this cleanser maintains a slightly acidic pH to support skin health. Its jelly-like texture creates a soft foam that cleanses the skin without leaving it feeling overly dry or squeaky clean. I received a deluxe size valued at $6.24 USD, which is a great addition to any skincare routine.

This lip gloss is visually stunning in the tube, and I find myself hesitant to mix it with any lipstick color for fear of ruining its crystal-clear perfection! Interestingly, it’s not as glossy as I initially expected, so it gives a more natural finish. I received a generous sample size of 3.1mL, especially considering that the full size is only 4.8mL, making this a fantastic deal! I received a deluxe size valued at $12.92 USD, which is a wonderful addition to my beauty collection.

I’ve never considered myself a mascara enthusiast, primarily because my thin Asian lashes often struggle to hold the volume and length promised by most formulas aimed at other ethnicities. Recently, however, I’ve found myself exploring more mascaras, as many brands are now offering innovative brushes and formulas. To my delight, this mascara exceeded my expectations! My lashes appeared beautifully lifted and maintained their curl throughout the day. The brush is not overly large, making application easy and precise, and the formula leans on the drier side, which I personally prefer. While it may not make my lashes look fuller, they definitely resembled the effect of baby false lashes! I received a travel size version valued at $13 USD, and I am thrilled with this find.

As a surprise bonus, I received an extra product because my original bag was lost in transit; Ipsy sent me a replacement bag, and shortly after, my original bag arrived with all the same contents, except this one. Although this shade isn’t one I typically wear, I plan to gift it to a friend, even though I wish I could pull it off for the Fall season. Interestingly, I was unable to find this product on the Eloise Beauty website, which raises the possibility that it might be discontinued or was specifically designed for this Ipsy Bag.

I have always appreciated Saturday Skin for their quality products, but I have primarily used their sheet masks until now. Thus, receiving this moisturizer was a delightful surprise. It contains nutrient-rich carrot extract, ceramides, and lipids that work together to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin. I received a deluxe version valued at $7.20 USD, making it a fantastic addition to my skincare routine.

Even though I don’t consider myself a makeup brush collector, I do appreciate a quality blush brush, and unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations. While it effectively picks up product and distributes it nicely, I prefer blush brushes that are larger and fluffier. Given that I have prominent cheek apples, I enjoy using a bigger brush that can cover more area in a single sweep rather than requiring multiple applications. <u>I received the full-size product valued at USD</u>, but this brush didn’t quite fit my personal preferences.
Evaluate the Overall Value: Final Thoughts on the Ipsy Glam Bag This particular bag likely costs more in Canadian currency now than it did prior to the tariff discussions initiated by Trump! With a total value of $57.36 USD, this bag exceeds the amount I paid for it, and I have genuinely warmed up to the Huda Beauty mascara, making this an incredibly enjoyable Ipsy Bag experience!
