CASPER, Wyo. — Celebrity entrepreneur Jeffree Star has plans to open a retail store in downtown Casper, the Star Yak Ranch announced on Sunday.
The business will be inside the former Hall on Ash building, 355 S. Ash St. in the Old Yellowstone District. With over 7,000 square feet of space, the store will sell yak meat products from yaks raised at the Star Yak Ranch.
“We will be expanding our products and launching them when we open,” Star Yak Ranch said in its Facebook announcement.
In a separate area of the store, Jeffree Star Cosmetics products will be offered. The store will also offer an “interactive space” with rotating items on display.
“Besides having several shopping experiences, there will also be a section where you can come see things from the #JeffreeStar Museum,” the Star Yak Ranch said. “Every few months there will be different exotic cars to come view from my fleet, huge props from our cosmetic campaigns that never get to be seen, and so much more that you can come in and take pictures of, and with.
“I am beyond excited for this next chapter, joining downtown Casper and expanding our businesses in my hometown. It’s been 2 years now since leaving LA and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
