Personal fragrance brand Amouage and home fragrance maker Dr. Vranjes Firenze will open their first-ever US boutiques at American Dream.
Both will open flagship locations in the luxury wing, The Avenue, in the “coming months,” according to an announcement Wednesday from American Dream.
Amouage, which is based in the Sultanate of Oman, was founded in 1983 to be “The Gift of Kings.” It has a global reputation for creativity, unparalleled craftmanship and being a fusion of East and West. They have collections for men and women that range from $130 for a sample pack to $500.
Amouage will set up a 1,000-square-foot boutique that will be it’s first stand-alone store in the United States, but their products are currently sold in Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
“As one of the world’s most sought-after luxury perfume houses, we are always strategic about where we connect with our clients,” said Marco Perigeal, CEO of Amouage. “American Dream is the perfect context for our first US boutique, with a setting extremely close to New York City, as well as close proximity to other top prestigious brands.”
Florence-based Dr. Vranjes Firenze is inspired by the vision that spaces become real sensory experiences because of the atmosphere created by fragrances. It makes fragrances for the home, the car and, most recently, a body care collection.
“Our fragrances, along with the colors, sizes and unique designs of our products inspired by Brunelleschi’s Dome, enrich the daily lives of our clients with a well-being and a scented lifestyle exquisitely made in Tuscany,” said Dr. Paolo Vranjes, master of scents. “Clients at American Dream will be transported from New Jersey to Florence as soon as they walk through the door.”
Dr. Vranjes Firenze at American Dream will have dedicated spaces to showcase each of the brand’s product categories, ranging from their iconic home diffusers to decorative scented candles.
“Our main mission at American Dream is to give our guests world-class experiences they can’t find anywhere else,” said Don Ghermezian, CEO of American Dream. “That’s why we’re thrilled to have Dr. Vranjes Firenze open their first US boutique at American Dream… [and] it’s a natural fit to have Amouage’s first US location open in The Avenue.”
The Avenue is the 300,000-square-foot luxury wing at American Dream, the shopping, dining and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands. It opened in September 2021 with six tenants. There are now 13 including, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Carpaccio, Jonny Was, Mulberry and more.
