I’m gearing up for a hectic week ahead filled with multiple vacations, which typically means that our schedules will be a bit chaotic. I’m hoping for a drama-free experience that effortlessly flows, and who knows, it might even sprinkle in some fun moments! In today’s #SheetMaskSunday feature, I’m diving into one of the most beloved sheet masks on the market – Mediheal! This brand boasts an impressive variety of sheet masks, and I find it challenging to keep up with their extensive offerings, each of which has consistently delivered remarkable results while also being enjoyable to use!
What sets this mask apart from the rest? It features a unique green foil design! This is a shade I’ve never encountered in any mask before. Initially, upon seeing the green packaging, I wondered if it indicated a mud-like texture. You might also be curious about the term “airpacking” associated with this mask. After some investigation, I discovered that it refers to the innovative triple-layer air barrier mask sheet that “self-warms” (a characteristic of all foil masks). This design effectively traps moisture, enhancing the absorption of essential ingredients into the skin, allowing you to experience maximum hydrating benefits.
Since everything was in Korean, I was a bit unsure of what to expect, but I placed my trust in Mediheal’s reputation for quality! Another intriguing aspect of this mask is its “mint” component, as it includes genuine peppermint leaf extract in its essence, alongside beneficial ingredients like tea tree oil, rosemary, lavender, willow bark, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Each of these ingredients contributes to a soothing experience, promoting relaxation and a refreshing sensation on the skin.
Essential Details About the Mask:
Price: I believe I paid approximately $5-$6 CDN at a charming Korean shop in Montreal that specializes in skincare products.
What it does: This mask effectively soothes and relaxes the skin while providing an experience akin to aromatherapy, allowing you to unwind and rejuvenate.
Scent: The fragrance is delightful, offering a strong peppermint note complemented by a medley of herbal aromas, including tea tree and lavender. It creates a truly lovely sensory experience!
Essence Type: The essence is clear and slightly viscous, providing a luxurious feel to the application.
Duration: Recommended usage time is 30 minutes for optimal results.
Thickness: The mask is made of a thin foil material, which conforms well to the contours of my face – a quality that is typical of many Asian foil masks I have tried.
Mask Fit: The fit is excellent, thanks to the design of the mask which comes in two separate pieces, allowing for a customizable fit for various face shapes!
Tackiness: It has a medium level of tackiness, which is typical for foil masks but not overly sticky.
Hydration: The hydration level provided by this mask is exceptionally high, ensuring your skin feels nourished and revitalized after use.
Additional Notes: Foil masks, like this one, often create a warming sensation due to the foil trapping moisture. Coupled with the minty freshness of this mask, removing it leaves your face feeling extremely cool and refreshed!
Final Verdict: While the mask does have a slight tackiness to it, I truly appreciated the invigorating scent, the appealing aesthetics, and the high-quality ingredients used in its formulation. It’s a bit disheartening to think this mask might not still be available, as it was a delightful and effective product that remained budget-friendly. Mediheal consistently delivers quality, and as always, I’m excited to share more of their fantastic products with you!
