Whenever I receive a text or direct message inquiring about high-quality yet affordable skincare recommendations, Versed consistently ranks at the top of my list. With their latest launch featuring skincare-inspired makeup, it appears that Versed makeup may soon join my roster of favorite budget-friendly makeup products as well.
They have debuted a well-rounded collection of 14 essential products:

The Versed makeup collection is not only dermatologist-tested, but it is also cruelty-free and vegan, with all products priced at $20 or less. I recently received several items from this collection to test out, and I will be sharing my detailed impressions with you below.

Discover the Versatile Multi Serum Skin Tint
This lightweight complexion product features a mineral SPF of 40 and is touted as a nourishing serum that provides buildable coverage. It is available in 14 different shades, and I discovered that the shade 4W was a perfect match for my skin tone.
I personally prefer applying skin tints and tinted moisturizers using my fingers, and I found this method to yield the best results for blending and coverage.
Using the Versed Multi-Tasking Brush for application didn’t work as well for me, as it required a bit more blending to achieve an even finish.
The result is a very dewy and glowy finish, making this product unsuitable for those with oily skin or those who prefer a more matte appearance. For lasting wear, a setting powder will be necessary, but surprisingly, Versed does not currently offer a powder in their collection.

Explore the Versatile Shade Swipe Blush Stick
This cream blush stick is designed for versatile application on both cheeks and lips, and it comes in 6 beautiful shades. I personally own the shade Bloom, which is described as a lovely rosy mauve, and I absolutely adore this tone.
Instead of applying stick products directly onto my face, I prefer using a brush, so I apply the blush to the brush first and then press it into my skin. This technique worked excellently, and I experienced no issues with the product breaking up or uneven application.
The blush stick is indeed buildable as advertised, allowing for a subtle flush that can be enhanced without overwhelming pigmentation right from the start, which is a significant plus.

Nourish Your Lips with the Tinted Lip Serum
This hydrating lip serum comes in 5 stunning shades. I have the shade Gem, a rich cherry color that is truly beautiful. I’m delighted with my choice of color.
This product offers a sheer yet buildable finish with a glossy sheen, giving the impression of a hydrating balm rather than a typical lip gloss or lip oil.
Application requires clicking the pen to dispense the product, which was unexpected for me, but I hope it holds up well over time.

Maximize Application with the Versed Multi-Tasking Brush
I truly appreciate the slight angle of this dense brush head, which offers versatility in application. I found it much more effective for applying the Versed blush than for the Skin Tint. The vegan bristles are incredibly soft and well-constructed, and the brush head’s size enhances its adaptability across various products. As the sole brush available in the Versed makeup line, I believe it serves as an excellent option for makeup enthusiasts.
