90 Day Fiancé star Ariela Weinberg is being accused of changing her face drastically with plastic surgery, but fans also seem to understand why.

New Jersey 31-year-old Ariela currently stars in 90 Day Fiancé season 9 with her 32-year-old partner Biniyam Shibre from Ethiopia. Ariela had started her TLC journey in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 in 2020 when she was pregnant with Biniyam’s baby. The couple eventually welcomed their first child, Aviel, and got engaged. Two years later, fans are watching Ariela and Biniyam get married in the US
While Ariela and Biniyam are still together, the relationship has been full of highs and lows, mostly due to their trust issues and financial troubles. As fans watched Ariela and Biniyam’s new romance go through many changes on the show, they’ve also been noticing her changing face. Halfway though 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2021, Ariela started looking very different in her talking head segments after she moved to America for baby Aviel’s emergency operation. Fans began talking about Ariela getting plastic surgery to give her face a new look. Names of procedures such as blepharoplasty, wide nose rhinoplasty , and buccal fat removal were discussed as TLC viewers dissected Ariela’s appearance.
Many fans commented on how Ariela didn’t need to get cosmetic treatments as she was “cute” before, such as Redditor called u/pink_skyyy said in a post. However, over time, not many agreed with the opinion because they think they now know why exactly Ariela decided to get work done. A top comment on the post from user Born_Ad8420 notes, “People bitch about how every single woman on the show looks, and then everyone says ‘Why did they get plastic surgery?’ I’m just saying there *might* be a connection there.” Others agreed with their views as they added that it’s often fans who constantly make fun of 90 Day Fiancé cast members for the way they look and then keep complaining about the same cast members getting makeovers.

They also reminded fellow Redditors that Ariela lost a significant amount of weight after childbirth, which started to reflect in how she looked on screen. After all, the first time when fans saw Ariela on TV was when she was about six months pregnant. Fans spoke about how criticism should be restricted to a cast member’s personality on the show, not the way they look. There have been times when reality TV celeb Ariela has been compared to Quasimodo in memes. There is a high chance that her self-esteem may have been hurt if she’s come across these comments or pictures on the internet.
Apart from her new look, Ariela is mocked for the condescending way she treats Biniyam on the show. They feel she’s only with Biniyam to use their son to her advantage to manipulate the Ethiopian man when she still has feelings for her ex-husband, Leandro Fosque. Ariela has been called out for being spoiled and relying on her parents to pay her bills. But Ariela happens to take the hate in stride and has even joked about how she feels like she as “made it” because she finally has haters after going on 90 Day Fiancé. Ariela wants TLC viewers to watch the show for fun, but instead it’s turned into a guessing game of what plastic surgery Ariela has had done to her face.
