The end of August has arrived faster than anticipated, and I’m sure many of you feel the same way! As the year progresses, time seems to accelerate, especially in the second half. Personally, I’ve come to cherish the leisurely pace of summer in my older years. This week, I’m determined to turn things around for myself, and I’ve discovered some new breathing exercises aimed at managing my anxiety, which has been a challenge for much of the past year. I remain hopeful that this week marks the beginning of regaining some control over my well-being.

This week, I had a clear vision of wanting a vibrant pink base for my nail art, and the OPI x Barbie collection has delivered beautifully on that front! The shade “Hi Barbie!” stands out as one of my favorites. However, for #CBBxManiMonday, I always aim to elevate a basic swatch with a little more flair and creativity when time allows. Thus, I thought, “Why not experiment with some 3D dot designs that have been trending?” In my first attempt, the black dots were the main feature, but I found it visually unsettling, as it evoked a bit of trypophobia (the fear of holes). It was quite disturbing every time I glanced at my nails, compelling me to make adjustments to the design.
