I’ve recently added three shades of the Karla Shadow Potions to my collection, and I can’t get enough of them! These versatile products can be utilized as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or even face highlighter, depending on the color you choose. A little goes a long way with these potions, making them an excellent value for your beauty routine. They blend effortlessly using either your fingertips or a makeup brush, allowing for a seamless application experience.

For the makeup look I created, I initially applied the potion using my fingertip at the inner corner of my eye, extending it through the crease and browbone. Afterward, I switched to a brush to soften and diffuse the edges for a polished finish. I can’t wait to share more of the loose multichromes and pastel duochromes I have from Karla as soon as I’m able. Their formula is top-notch and incredibly user-friendly.

After checking my receipt, I realized how long I’ve owned it, and upon using it for this look, I noticed that the color payoff was lacking. This palette has primarily served me well for cosplay looks in the past.

Essential Tips for Sanitize Your Eyeshadow Palettes

With proper care and sanitization, pressed eyeshadows can have a long lifespan. To effectively sanitize your palettes, lightly mist a makeup sanitizing spray (70% alcohol works as well) over the eyeshadows, ensuring not to soak them. Allow the product to dry and then use a tissue or paper towel to gently wipe away the top layer of product. This process not only maintains hygiene but also prolongs the life of your favorite shades.

My Experience with Surgical Tape Issues

As part of my post-surgery care, I had my chest taped down with heavy adhesive. Despite informing the hospital staff of my latex sensitivity, they seemed to have no alternative options available. After the removal of my drains, I was left with a painful rash along the top of my chest and below my breasts wherever the tape had made contact. This tape remained in place for a week, and it took nearly three weeks of treatment with two different medications to heal my skin effectively.

The Wet n’ Wild Ticket to Brazil Bronzer is perfect for very fair skin like mine! I apply it using a large bronzer brush, gently diffusing it over the Sunset cream bronzer for a seamless finish.

Iridescent makeup always captures my attention! This gloss provides a tingly, plumping effect on the lips without the burning sensation that some plumping products can cause. I genuinely love the iridescent shimmer it offers. If you enjoy gloss, I believe you will adore this one!

I’ve noticed that many people create a striking look by using a dark lip liner followed by filling in with iridescent gloss, which is why I’m excited to experiment with that lip technique. Next up, I plan to try it with a black lip liner for a bold contrast!

Anticipating Future Makeup Adventures

I’m optimistic that my remaining puffiness and swelling will subside soon, enabling me to feel more comfortable filming some YouTube content. I genuinely miss creating videos and connecting with all of you! My doctors assure me that my stamina will improve in time; for now, I easily tire out. I’m eagerly looking forward to being cleared to drive, resume workouts, lift weights, take walks with my girls, and handle items over five pounds. Dave has been doing an outstanding job of taking care of both me and the girls, but I value the ability to contribute actively.
