This year, we are thrilled to celebrate International Women’s Day during one of our most significant Ambassador events. As proud supporters of The King’s Trust Women Supporting Women Initiative, we are committed to donating all ticket sales to the Change a Girl’s Life campaign. This initiative is pivotal in providing the necessary resources and support for young women to thrive.
The Change a Girl’s Life campaign is dedicated to empowering young women who are facing various adversities. By providing them with the necessary assistance, we help these resilient individuals regain their footing and pursue meaningful employment opportunities. Remarkably, The Trust has positively impacted over 3,000 young women in the past five years, with an impressive 79% of them advancing to further education, vocational training, or stable employment.
According to insights from King’s Trust and the TK Maxx Youth Index 2025, young women in the UK are grappling with unprecedented challenges. Alarmingly, over half express feelings of anxiety regarding their future on a daily basis. Additionally, 57% report feeling embarrassed about being unemployed, while more than a third identify a lack of self-confidence as a major obstacle preventing them from achieving their career aspirations.
Tropic was founded by an inspiring woman who learned to create our products from her grandmother. Over the years, we have empowered thousands of women to supplement their income, gain financial independence, and craft a life they desire. Notably, 70% of our headquarters team comprises women, reinforcing our commitment to gender equality and empowerment.
We firmly believe in the rights of women to live life according to their own terms, regardless of their geographic location. This conviction drives us to allocate 10% of our profits to causes that resonate deeply with us, particularly those that focus on supporting, uplifting, and empowering women. Our initiatives include funding over 7 million school days through UWS and establishing four schools to ensure that girls in remote communities worldwide have access to essential education.
