However, it’s important to note that they can be lightly to moderately drying, and not every shade performs uniformly. The lighter shades tend to feel thicker on the lips, requiring longer to dry and often breaking down unevenly after meals, especially from the center of the lips.

Conversely, the mid-tone and deeper shades generally offer better application and a more comfortable wearing experience. These darker shades are formulated to be thinner, thus accommodating various lip textures and minimizing the appearance of fine lines. They also tend to wear away more evenly over time.
