After a hectic week managing the team without my co-manager, I finally feel a sense of relief. The absence of my partner in leadership has made me realize how challenging it is to juggle client tasks when the responsibility for team support falls entirely on my shoulders. Previously, we had a dedicated Floor Manager who assisted the sales team, but since her departure, we’ve had to readjust our strategies and share our resources more effectively. It’s disheartening that some senior team members consistently require assistance yet are unwilling to offer help in return, often providing misleading information. This creates an environment where new hires feel lost and unsure about whom to trust, and it puts me in a tough position since I lack hiring authority. Despite these challenges, I managed to treat myself to a fresh coat of nail polish yesterday, which always uplifts my spirits!
The duo I used, named “Lava Flame,” is absolutely gorgeous on its own! The flakie/glitter effect is breathtaking, and I was surprised that one coat of each polish provided full opacity. I often forget how consistent Revlon is with their nail polish formulations, which consistently deliver quality results. To add a touch of “sunshine,” I applied some Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Dandelion using a small nail art brush, which elevated the overall look.
