Upon closer inspection of the ingredients in Blueland’s cleaning products, I noted a couple of points worth discussing further.
- Fragrance: I’ve reached out to the brand for clarification regarding their fragrance formulation and will update this section once I receive a response. Their website indicates the fragrance is “developed without known allergens and without any Prop 65 ingredients”, and comprises a blend of natural and synthetic elements. However, Blueland also offers fragrance-free options, including the Glass + Mirror Cleaner, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Tablets, and Laundry Tablets. The Oxi Laundry Booster has a fragrance-free variant available, while the Multi-Surface Spray, Bathroom Spray, and Toilet Cleaner currently come only in scented versions.
- Colorants: Another ingredient that raised a concern for me is the use of colorants in their sprays. According to their website, they use “biodegradable materials for color without heavy metal dyes.” While I appreciate the effort, I would prefer if colorants were entirely avoided. I’m curious why they can’t simply color the reusable bottles instead of incorporating dyes into the tablets themselves. I’ve also contacted them regarding this issue and am awaiting a reply.

I was pleasantly surprised by how effectively a small tablet cleaned our laundry! Although the tablets are unscented, my clothes still emerged smelling fresh and clean. I love the portability of these tablets for travel, minimizing mess. I typically use just one tablet, but I’ve heard that some people opt for two when dealing with heavily soiled laundry.

The Eucalyptus Mint scent is supposed to be refreshing, but to me, it smells more floral. Regardless, I truly appreciate how effectively it cleaned my bathroom, from toilet seats to sinks and even the floor. There were no streaks left behind. The only aspect I would change is the scent, but the performance is stellar!
