Last week, I mentioned that this month’s CBBxManiMonday theme is “Shimmer and Glitter.” I have an extensive collection of nail polish options. With so many colors and finishes, buying more polish seems unnecessary. Who actually “empties” a nail polish bottle?

For my latest nail art, I used a new polish as the base: Essie Expressie in Choreo Queen*. For the glitter tips, I applied Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Big Money (from 2012). The light purple glitter complemented my purple base beautifully.

The Gem Crush collection is known for its dense glitter. Although I could apply it with a brush, using a sponge creates a more natural gradient effect. I sealed the design with a top coat for longevity.
