While it might seem magical that it adapts to every individual’s melanin, the key component responsible for this transformation is actually Red 27. This ingredient remains clear in a waterless base until it interacts with moisture from the skin or lips, revealing a vibrant pinkish-red hue. The uniqueness of the blush’s color is influenced by the user’s skin tone, yet it consistently displays the same lively pinkish-red shade. This phenomenon explains why I’ve often wondered why certain “mood-changing” lip products from my childhood would turn pink on me.

Applying this blush is incredibly simple, thanks to the doe foot applicator that allows for 2-3 dabs per cheek.
