I am still in the process of regaining my energy and focus after a busy inventory period, which went quite well. Despite that success, I find myself overwhelmed with both work and personal responsibilities, making me feel like I’m constantly playing catch-up. However, I managed to carve out an hour of tranquility at work during a quiet moment, allowing me to engage in some enlightening online training with Chaumet. It’s fascinating to delve into the features and benefits of their latest products, and I often remind myself to reserve this type of enriching reading for my work hours rather than at home, where I’m easily distracted!
While I had planned to pamper my nails on Sunday evening, I simply lacked the energy to do so, which is why my ManiMonday is taking place today. Truthfully, I doubt anyone else is keeping track of my nail art schedule, but it matters to me! This month, I’ve been eager to create one more heart-themed manicure, and the idea of “Heartbeat Nails” has been swirling in my mind for some time. I am delighted with how they turned out! Admittedly, the Essie base shade was a bit goopy due to its age, making the application around my cuticles quite challenging. I ended up needing to make significant corrections with an eyeliner brush. This was my first time using a limited edition Valentine’s Day glitter, and I must say, I loved the combination of chunky and fine pink glitter! I carefully painted the heartbeat design with a fine brush and added a cute red heart. Without the glitter as a backdrop, I think the manicure would have been rather plain, so I’m thrilled that I chose to incorporate it!
