Explore the Bold Look of Urban Decay Indie Sleaze Vice Lip Bond Glossy Liquid Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.2 oz.) presents a striking soft black hue with cooler undertones that culminates in a stunning glossy finish. Unfortunately, I encountered challenges in achieving adherence in the inner area of my lips, making this shade the most sheer I have experienced from this otherwise reputable formula. Its unique color may appeal to those seeking a daring look, but it may not perform as well on all lip types.

In-Depth Analysis of the Formula Performance
$25.00/0.2 oz. – $125.00 Per Ounce
The formulation is designed to deliver “intense color and instant shine” in just one layer, while ensuring a “comfortable wear” experience that also provides hydration. The manufacturer claims incredible longevity of up to 16 hours, alongside being transfer-proof and resistant to water and food. For optimal results, it is recommended that you shake the tube prior to application to activate the ingredients.
I’m thrilled to share that the formula genuinely lived up to its ambitious claims! It proved to be remarkably long-wearing, with the potential for 16 hours of wearability. However, I did notice that indulging in two greasy meals affected the lipstick’s integrity after about 12 to 14 hours, depending on individual eating habits. The lipstick was resilient against food and water; I observed no smudges on my glasses while sipping my morning lattes or hydrating with water throughout the day. Post-meal, it exhibited minimal transfer, maintaining its appearance exceptionally well, except for the very inner part of my lips after enjoying an oil-rich pesto lunch.
The color payoff was rich and applied evenly, demonstrating a forgiving nature that didn’t settle into my lip lines. Initially, the liquid lipstick felt lightweight and thin, but it transitioned to a slightly clingy, satin-like finish after about 30 seconds. I found that after two hours, it felt less clingy and was incredibly comfortable to wear. Notably, I did not experience any dryness in my lips, even after consecutive days of application.
Interestingly, the product seemed to be unscented, with no detectable taste, which could appeal to those sensitive to fragrances.
