The transition into the “Back to School” season triggers a wave of nostalgia for many, including myself. Although it’s been years since I last attended school and I don’t have children to remind me of the excitement and chaos of this time, I still feel connected to the annual rush. Many of us can relate to the anxiety-inducing dreams of mistakenly arriving at the wrong classroom on exam day. This season brings back memories of our school days, even if we aren’t actively participating in them anymore!
Just before I was set to unleash my creativity with a new Back to School design, an unfortunate incident occurred—I broke a significant portion of my nail. This meant that I needed to file them down and wait for them to regrow, which was disappointing. However, I still had the opportunity to create something fun with my slightly pointed nails. I decided on a pencil-themed nail art design. While I’ve done similar designs before, this time I added a realistic touch with graphite tips, inspired by a tutorial from naillacqueruk. The final result turned out beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier with how they came out!
