I recently indulged in a delightful three-day weekend after working on the Stat Holiday earlier this week, and it has been an incredibly refreshing experience. Despite the summer heat, I feel like I’ve been putting in a lot of effort at work, and I’m determined to relish the remaining days of summer before we transition into Fall and, before we know it, the festive season of Christmas. In the retail sector, the holiday rush starts as early as September, so it’s crucial to enjoy downtime when you can! I’ve taken this opportunity to catch up on household tasks and blog activities, which I thoroughly enjoy as a self-proclaimed homebody.
I find myself pondering whether Sephora has introduced genuinely new sheet masks or if they are simply repackaging existing products. During my recent shopping spree, I kept adding these masks to my cart to hit the minimum spend for a Gift With Purchase (GWP), which is how I ended up with this intriguing lemon mask.

What makes this mask a must-try? This mask is formulated with hyaluronic acid for intense hydration, along with purifying nutgrass root and clarifying lemon extract. However, it’s worth noting that these beneficial ingredients are found towards the end of the ingredient list, while fragrance appears to be prominently included, which may be a consideration for those sensitive to scents.

The fabric used for the sheet mask was a pleasant surprise, differing from my expectations. Previously, Sephora Collection masks were crafted from eucalyptus fibre, which made them feel a bit rigid. This new mask, however, is made from acacia fibres, resulting in a significantly softer and more comfortable experience.

Essential Details of the Mask:
Price: $8.50 CDN
Benefits: Smooths and purifies the skin
Aroma: Subtly lemony
Texture: Clear and lightly viscous
Application Time: 20 minutes
Material Thickness: Thin
Fit and Comfort: A significant improvement! The fit is much better than the initial generation of Sephora Collection sheet masks, which tended to be stiffer and less accommodating.
Stickiness: None
Hydration Level: I felt the need to apply a moisturizer afterward as the mask did not provide sufficient hydration for my skin type.
Additional Observations: The material of the mask is significantly softer compared to the prior eucalyptus fibre versions.
