Reflecting on my beauty journey, 2018 was undeniably the peak year for sheet masks, capturing the hearts of beauty enthusiasts across North America. The Sephora website became my go-to destination for exploring an impressive variety of sheet masks. My ambition that year was to document each mask I tried, but the overwhelming options made it challenging to keep pace! Recently, I’ve faced some skin issues, particularly around my chin, which has limited my sheet masking. However, this setback has allowed me to revisit and review the incredible array of masks I used back then, thanks to the notes I kept in my Keep App.

The standout feature of the Rose Flower Fusion Mask is its unique blend of flower oils within the essence. In addition to the prominent rose extract, it includes other luxurious oils such as geranium, lavender, and ylang ylang. While the mask material is crafted from 100% bamboo, which suggests a gentle touch on the skin, I found it surprisingly thick, making it challenging to adhere smoothly to my face.
Mask Overview:
Price: $9 CDN

Experience Relaxation with the Lavender Flower Fusion Mask
This Lavender Flower Fusion Mask is enriched with lavender wax, aimed at providing a calming and soothing aromatherapy experience. While I personally adore the scent of lavender, I found the aroma to be strikingly similar to that of the Rose mask. If I hadn’t known the name of this mask, I would have struggled to identify the presence of lavender in the scent profile.
The fit of this mask mirrored that of the Rose variety, characterized by numerous folds that made it difficult to achieve a snug fit, particularly around the chin area where it felt especially loose.
Final Thoughts: Despite the less-than-ideal fit of these masks, the results were undeniably impressive—my skin felt incredibly soft and well-hydrated after each use, indicating the quality of the essence was exceptional! I had hoped that Origins would consider revisiting the fit of their masks before exiting the sheet mask market entirely. Nonetheless, I cherish the opportunity to have tried these products, which feel like a piece of beauty history!
Unfortunately, these masks have been discontinued. However, I’d love to hear your experiences if you’ve tried them before!
