While I genuinely enjoy having Sunday and Monday off from work, I am acutely aware that this arrangement often leaves me feeling drained and fatigued for the subsequent five days. This is precisely why I prefer my days off to be staggered; having breaks mid-week, specifically on Wednesday and Thursday, allows me to recharge just as I’m beginning to feel overwhelmed. In my line of work, I strive to manage my energy effectively, but after a few consecutive days of being “ON,” I inevitably end up feeling socially exhausted. Interestingly, I’ve noticed some positive changes in my routine over the past couple of months after heeding my therapist’s advice. By concentrating my efforts on my clients, I’ve discovered that they indeed demand a significant amount of my time and attention—but in the best possible way!

The vibrant colors of my manicures this month clearly reflect my decision to skip over the transitional season of Spring and dive straight into the warmth of summer. I can’t quite pinpoint why I’m feeling this strong urge to fast-forward to summer this year, but since February, I’ve been dreaming of June. This week’s #CBBxManiMonday showcases this sentiment perfectly, as the hues I selected are all inspired by summer collections! Although I feel a bit disappointed that my black dots smudged, I suppose my eagerness to see the finished product got the better of me, preventing me from waiting for them to dry properly!
