I find myself in a bit of a dilemma as I had fully planned to share my latest nail art for ManiMondays last Monday. However, as the week progressed, I realized it was already Friday, and posting then didn’t seem appropriate. Honestly, I’m uncertain when I will return to my regular routine of beauty blogging. Since August, my work life has felt like a psychological rollercoaster, and I hope it resolves soon. I constantly tell myself that I need to prioritize sleep and self-care, yet that feeling of fatigue seems endless. The recent Daylight Saving Time has exacerbated my tiredness, making me quite productive at work during our busy season while leaving little energy for home tasks. Simple chores like laundry and grocery shopping become overwhelming, and last month, I shockingly started my October bullet journal on October 23rd! I hadn’t even realized I neglected to prepare for the month!
This month, our theme is “Anything Goes,” and I decided to showcase my Paris-inspired nails! I aimed for a neutral look that would withstand the daily wear and tear without chipping. I have observed that the shade OPI Gemini and I held up remarkably well for a week as a base color for my Thanksgiving nails, so I was eager to incorporate it into this manicure. Additionally, I wanted to try out a new base color, a lovely caramel shade from Biosculpture, which inspired the final design of this manicure!
