Inspiration can come from various sources, and in my case, my partner’s family heritage from Scotland has introduced me to unique expressions, such as the phrase ‘nippin ma heid.’ This phrase encapsulates the feeling of being gently urged or pressured to act, and I find it resonates with my creative process.
My fashion sense feels like it’s constantly being nudged by this phrase, as my mind is in a perpetual state of exploration. The only way I can find solace from this relentless creativity is through writing this blog, creating engaging videos, and sharing my thoughts with others. Consequently, I want to highlight what has been fueling my inspiration lately.

This exquisite fragrance was specially designed in collaboration with J.Press. The goal was to encapsulate the enchanting essence of Madras fabric, a textile that holds significant importance in menswear and is celebrated globally.
At first, trying a new fragrance can be a bit intimidating, but I was pleasantly surprised by how this one resonated with me. The initial notes of Mandarin Orange, Lemon, Basil, and Black Pepper created a delightful sensory experience that felt vibrant and refreshing.
Furthermore, the fragrance is housed in a stunning hand-woven Fishpot Weave® bottle that truly represents the spirit of the Caribbean. This design is not only beautiful but also pays homage to the local craftsmanship and the brand’s rich heritage within island culture.
St. Johns has built a remarkable legacy over the past 75 years with its iconic Bay Rum® scent, originally crafted by Captain John Webb, who served as a U.S. Navy officer in the Caribbean during World War II. This history adds a layer of depth and authenticity to their fragrance offerings.
