The Real Housewives of Atlanta just wrapped up its 14th season, with Andy Cohen recently filming the reunion. As one of the longest-running cities in the franchise, RHOA continues to set the bar high as far as drama and storylines are concerned.

After joining the Bravo series in season 5, Kenya has shown the ups and downs of her chaotic life throughout season 14. She’s one of the longest-running Housewives and is commended for showing the highs and lows of her friendships, relationships, and business struggles . Aside from her stunning looks, Kenya is known as the “Shade Assassin” and has some of the best quotes in the franchise because of how witty and charming she can be.

    SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

“I’m Gone With The Wind Fabulous.”

    Kenya twirling on RHOA

When Kenya Moore first joined the series, she had her fair share of troubles with the women, but there was no denying she was one of the best cast members in the early seasons, Porsha, in particular, rubbed Kenya the wrong way and the two had their ups and downs for years.

While on vacation, Kenya was tired of being called derogatory names that didn’t match her character. As an older woman, she thought it was a disservice to other women to be name-called, simply for enjoying the company of a man. While preaching her worth, Kenya said “I’m Gone With the Wind fabulous,” as she twirled in response. The twirl, hair flip, and quote are one of Kenya’s best of all time. She even wrote a song based on the line.

“Her Booth Is As Empty As Her Château.”

A split image of Kenya and Cynthia hugging while setting up a promo event on RHOA

One of the best ongoing storylines on RHOA was Shereé Whitfield’s issues with her “château.” She had been building her home for years, and it had her castmates wondering why it was taking so long to complete. Rumors about Shereé’s finances swirled throughout the series because it was assumed she didn’t have enough money to get what she wanted.

In season 9, Cynthia Bailey threw a networking event at her event space. When Kenya arrived and praised her Kenya Moore Haircare booth, she looked displeased at Shereé’s table. Kenya laughed at Shereé’s “sad” table and claimed it was as “empty as her château.” Cynthia hilariously called Kenya “Shady Boots” for her comment.

“Don’t Come For Me Unless I Send For You.”

Kenya had a huge first season on RHOA. She made friends, enemies, and threw a whole lot of shade. First reunions can always be nerve-wracking for Housewives, but Kenya handled it with fire and grace.

One of the more shocking Real Housewives conflicts occurred when the husbands of the Housewives came on stage. Throughout season 5, Kenya clashed with Phaedra when she and Phaedra’s husband Apollo became too close for comfort. At the reunion, Kenya defended her actions and blamed Apollo for being flirtatious, while telling Phaedra to worry about her husband — not her. During the argument, she warned Phaedra and Apollo to not come for her unless she sent for them. This became an iconic line that other Housewives couldn’t top.

“You Courted Me To Come To Your Event. That’s The Least You Can Do Is Get My Title Right.”

Porsha introduces Kenya by the wrong name on RHOA

One of Kenya’s more iconic scenes on RHOA was when she went to Porsha’s charity event in season 5. Porsha and Kenya were both newer to the series and Porsha wanted Kenya to make an appearance at a charity event of hers to show off the strong, Black females in Atlanta.

However, when Porsha introduced Kenya to the crowd, she didn’t know Kenya’s official Miss USA title or the year she won the title. Kenya was thrown off because the leader of any event should know the title or job of a person they’re introducing to the audience. Kenya left the event in a huff and will forever be remembered for correcting Porsha when she called Kenya “Miss America” when she was actually crowned Miss USA.

“Does She Not Know That I Am The Shade Assassin?”

A split image of Kenya talking about Tanya on RHOA

It wasn’t just Housewives that Kenya Moore butted heads with from time to time, she also collided with friends of the series — like Tanya Sam.

After hearing rumors about Tanya’s fiancé being with another woman, Tanya (and a few of the other women) didn’t appreciate it. It felt like a repeat of the supposed love triangle between Kenya, Apollo, and Phaedra. In a confessional, Kenya Tanya that “she was messing with the wrong one” and reminded her that she was known as the “shade assassin.” Hearing her nickname come out of her mouth on-screen was like music to warned fans’ ears.

A split image of Kenya crashing Marlo's wig event on RHOA

In season 12, Marlo Hampton created and released a wig line that she was super passionate about. Over the years, Kenya and Marlo went from being new friends to best friends to enemies in a matter of seasons. During Marlo’s wig release event, Kenya looked like the ultimate RHOA villain when she showed up selling her own haircare line…

With a drumline in tow, Kenya showed up to cause havoc. In a confessional, Kenya admitted that “people’s edges mattered” and that she was only helping the women in attendance. However, making Marlo’s entire event about her own business was hilariously low.

“I Would Like Porsha To Spell Scepter — Go.”

RHOA season 6 reunion with Kenya, Cynthia, and Porsha arguing on RHOA

While there are totally authentic and relatable friendships on The Real Housewives, there are also some relationships that floundered before they became civil. Porsha and Kenya may be friends these days, but they were anything but in season 6.

Now that Porsha was divorced, Kenya used Porsha’s failed relationship as ammo during arguments. And sadly, the season 6 reunion got physical when Kenya brought a megaphone and a scepter and directed both props toward Porsha. Before things got nasty, she asked Porsha to ” spell scepter,” which Porsha could not. This was a shady move but it was hard not to laugh at.

“Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall, I Am The Shadiest One Of Them All.”

Kenya throwing shade at season 5 reunion of RHOA

It’s easy to say that the fight between Kenya and Phaedra in the early seasons went too far. No one won when it came to alleges of an affair. However, a little bit of drama wasn’t enough to keep Kenya down.

At the season 5 reunion, Kenya didn’t hold back when she brought yet another prop (a fan) and said “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, I am the shadiest one of them all.” Even as enemies of Kenya, it was hard for her castmates not to giggle at her theatrics.

“The Tea Is So Piping Hot I’m Spilling It All Over My Dress.”

Kenya spilling tea in a confessional on RHOA

Actress Kim Fields only lasted one season (season 8) and it wasn’t an easy one thanks to Kenya. Kenya felt like Kim was being duplicitous and not being authentic with her, which only garnered sassy replies from Kim.

As always, Kenya had a lot of tea on Kim’s life, especially her marriage. In a confessional, Kenya joked that the tea she had was so “piping hot” that she was spilling it on herself. Leave it to Kenya to keep things upbeat and funny, while simultaneously creating an iconic line.

“Is There Any More Wine? No? I’m Leaving.”

Kenya, Phaedra, and Kandi talking in season 6 of RHOA

Kenya handled herself the best she could when she showed up as a guest for a party at Cynthia and Peter’s new event space. The topic of conversation was Porsha’s new mansion, which happened to be located in NeNe’s neighborhood.

While a few of the women questioned why Porsha bought such a big house as a single woman, Kenya loved being the one to spill the tea. In one clip, Kenya was seen looking for wine and when she didn’t find any, she left . If this didn’t make her one of the more relatable Housewives, it made her one of the more likable.
