Can you believe it’s already August? While my daily routine doesn’t shift significantly during the summer months, I can definitely sense a slowdown in the atmosphere. Morning traffic is notably lighter, which reduces my commute from 35 minutes to a breezy 20 minutes. People seem to embrace a more relaxed pace, perhaps due to the sunshine uplifting their moods, and this pleasant demeanor is always welcome, especially in the bustling world of retail.

Today, I’m excited to showcase yet another gem that I discovered through the now-defunct Beauteque Box mask subscription service, featuring a Korean brand that was previously unfamiliar to me called eyeNlip Beauty. This brand is committed to being cruelty-free and offers a diverse range of skincare and makeup products. What truly captivated me about these masks is their stunning floral packaging! There are a total of eight other sheet masks within this Moisture Essence series, and I will be reviewing two of them today, with the possibility of exploring the remaining eight in future posts!

So, what sets this mask apart from others? The star ingredient is undoubtedly Hyaluronic Acid, which is prominently featured at the top of the ingredient list with a concentration of 125mg. Although I’m unsure of how this compares to other products, I’m optimistic that such a concentration signifies a beneficial impact on skin hydration!

Upon trying the mask, I was disappointed by the fit, as it had numerous wrinkles that I struggled to smooth out. The fabric of the sheet mask felt somewhat artificial and overly silky, which hindered its ability to adhere properly to my skin. This lack of adherence can significantly influence the overall effectiveness of any sheet mask.

This essence features 25mg of charcoal extract alongside a selection of intriguing plant-based ingredients like carrot, cabbage, blueberry, aloe vera, evening primrose, and eggplant extract, to name just a few! While it may sound a bit like an unusual salad, I genuinely appreciate the creativity and originality that brands bring to their formulations!

To my surprise, I found that the fit of this mask was significantly better than the previous one! It clung beautifully to my skin and sat smoothly without any issues, proving that not all masks are created equal.
