Really? Tom Brady needed cosmetic surgery? I learned along time ago that we can’t believe everything we read on the internet, (other than 300 word posts by future blogging expert Jaybeau Jones.)
But when I saw this blurb about Tom Brady getting cosmetic surgery, I had to tap the breaks. The ONLY thing Tom needs surgically removed is GRONKin my opinion. This cosmetic surgery story emerged as one of the many possible reasons why Tom missed his practices for Tampa Bay citing, personal reasons. Personally, it’s none of my business, nor do I care what Tom (or anyone) does with personal time. It’s his life! But, with TB-12 being such an iconic figure, he can’t escape curious scrutiny at every turn. Needless to say, Tom Brady is perhaps the biggest rock star that doesn’t play an instrument, unless you count his throwing arm as his guitar. He’s arguably the most accomplished celebrity of our time.

Tom is so bankable, Fox Sports cut a multi-million dollar broadcast deal that takes place sometime in the future, when Tom decides to retire. The job requires Tom to perform broadcast color duties in the booth during football games. NO ONE knows if he can really pull it off, but no one cares. It seems that Tom will rise to occasion, when it needs to happen. Hey, he always does, right? Fox did this deal to lock Tom in NOW, so no other network can. THAT’s his bankability. In the broadcast world, it’s very normal to pay a star to NOT work, and wait until there’s an opening, to keep that person locked in to your network, movie, TV show, etc. I really don’t believe Tom Brady needed cosmetic surgery. But, who knows, he may be on TV someday!
