Understanding My Skin Tone for the Perfect Match
I possess a very fair, neutral cool skin tone. When exposed to sunlight, my skin tends to burn and peel, after which it takes on a soft, cool olive-yellow hue. Consequently, I strive to minimize sun exposure to prevent burning. My best matches in makeup are typically found in fair neutral and fair cool shades. Below, I’ve listed my current top shade matches that work beautifully with my complexion.

I conducted live swatches of the Bellabeautebar Morally Grey Palette on my arm using Wet n’ Wild eyeshadow primer. I found that applying the shimmer shades with my fingertips delivered the best results, while a brush was ideal for applying the matte shades for optimal precision.

Currently, Bellabeautebar does not provide specific shade descriptions for this palette on their official website. Therefore, I’ve taken the initiative to write my own descriptions based on my observations and experiences with each shade.

- Complex Motivations – a candy pink metallic shimmer that adds a pop of color.
- Bittersweet – a multichrome that shifts from pink to gold to a sheer violet-grey base.
- Indecisive – a blend of beige and pink in multichrome shimmers.
- Moral Compass – a pale neutral cool ivory matte that perfectly matches my skintone.
- Ambivalence – a soft pastel pink matte ideal for blending.
- Mixed Feelings – a nude mauve pink matte that is versatile and flattering.
- Shades of Grey – a soft cool-toned grey matte that works beautifully in the crease.
- Not a Hero – a blue-toned graphite matte perfect for dramatic looks.

Comprehensive Review of the Bellabeautebar Morally Grey Palette

As an avid admirer of Bellabeautebar, I am absolutely delighted with the Morally Grey Palette. First and foremost, I appreciate a well-edited small palette, and the selection of nine pans is ideal for a carefully curated color story. Additionally, I find the heart-shaped pans and packaging to be incredibly charming, perfectly embodying a romantic goth aesthetic. Most importantly, it’s a genuine cool-toned palette, and every shade harmonizes beautifully with my skin tone.
Moreover, I am enamored with all the shimmer shades included in this palette. One standout shade for me is Not a Villain, which reminds me of Bellabeautebar’s pressed single, Crypt. The selected multichromes are two of my favorite color combinations to pair with pink and grey mattes. The matte formulas are lovely and buildable, allowing for versatile application. Each color works well together, making it easy to create cohesive looks. All of the shimmer shades can be applied as one-and-done, while the mattes can softly sculpt the eyes and enhance them in multi-eyeshadow looks. I also appreciate the creative names that add a whimsical touch, inspired by romantic themes.
Overall, I have been pleased with every eyeshadow palette, single eyeshadow, loose eyeshadow, and highlighter that I’ve purchased from Bellabeautebar. The Morally Grey Palette is undoubtedly a winner in my book!
If you have muted grey undertones or grey-pink undertones and adore cool-toned makeup, the Morally Grey Palette is a must-have for you! I love that it allows for the creation of looks ranging from subtle and demure to bold and smoky.
If you’ve been contemplating the Natasha Denona Xenon Midi Palette, I suggest you skip it and give the Bellabeautebar Morally Grey Palette a chance instead. Personally, I prefer the tightly edited color story of this nine-pan palette over the fifteen pans of the other option.
