Hello, beautiful creatures! Today, I’m thrilled to unveil my makeup look featuring the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette, perfect for your Valentine’s Day celebrations. This marks the first complete makeup look I’ve created for 2024, especially significant after my blepharoplasty surgery on December 20, 2023. It’s an exciting journey to explore new eye makeup options with my transformed eye shape.
For the first time in my life, I’m navigating the art of makeup for deepset eyes instead of hooded ones, a change that requires a fresh approach to color placement and blending techniques. I’m eager to share my experiences as I learn to enhance my features with this new eye structure! It’s an opportunity to dive deep into the world of makeup artistry.
All products discussed in this post are purchased by me, and every opinion shared is genuinely my own.

Creating a Glamorous Look with the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette
EYES
To achieve this stunning look, I began with the Karla Cosmetics Shadow Primer (use code CORDELIA for savings!). I applied the Wicked Widow Beauty shade Worlds Apart all over my lids, followed by the captivating Love Like Winter on my lower lid. To define the edges, I blended 3 Lost Worlds, while Fall For You added a beautiful sheen to my lid. For depth, Letting Go graced the outer crease and lid, complemented by Crossroads as my transition shade. I set the under eyes with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and added a touch of Nabla Black Cupid’s Arrow on the outer upper lashline for definition. For a dramatic finish, I used products from the Nomad Aoraki Mackenzie and Dark Sky Nation New Zealand Palette to deepen the outer corners, topped with Goodnight Moon for a radiant inner corner highlight. I finished with KVD Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara, Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Grey, and Nyx Thick It Stick It Brow Gel in Cool Ash Brown.
FACE
To create a flawless base, I started with the Elf Power Grip Primer, followed by Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick in Bright Side for a sun-kissed glow. For my foundation, I opted for the Rose Inc Skin Enhance Non-Comedogenic Skin Tint Serum Foundation in shade 10. Rare Beauty’s Positive Light Under Eye Brightener in Light provided brightening effects, while KVD Everlasting Blush in Rosebud added a soft flush to my cheeks. I finished with Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation in 105, a touch of Kaleidos Moon Cruiser highlighter, and Urban Decay All Nighter Spray to lock in the look.
LIPS
To complete my makeup, I applied Urban Decay Vice Lip Bond Glossy Longwear Liquid Lipstick in Shock Value, giving my lips a pop of color that perfectly complemented the overall look.
Reviewing the KVD Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara
Let’s dive into my thoughts on the KVD Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara. After purchasing a mini size and being impressed, I decided to invest in the full size. However, during this application, it unfortunately underperformed. The formula was unexpectedly wet and clumpy, leading to a disappointing finish that I couldn’t rectify with a spoolie. This experience has made me question the general perception that mini products are often superior to their full-size counterparts.
My disappointment extends to KVD’s lack of transparency regarding the shelf life of their eye products. It’s frustrating to discover that some items, like the dazzle gels, only have a 6-month shelf life, especially given their premium pricing. Additionally, I was truly saddened to learn that the KVD Everlasting Blush in Rosebud has been discontinued. This refillable packaging was a favorite of mine, and I felt it offered the ideal everyday shade for my cool-toned skin. My attempt to find a suitable alternative through KVD’s customer service yielded disappointing suggestions, indicating a disconnect between their team and actual makeup needs.
Celebrating the Versatility of e.l.f. Makeup Products
I want to take a moment to express my genuine love for e.l.f. makeup products! While not every product is a perfect match for me, they offer a fantastic range of options. At present, I’m particularly fond of their Power Grip Primer, which serves as an affordable alternative to the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer. It’s disheartening to see other beauty creators criticize e.l.f. for their dupes, especially when affordable options are essential for many of us.
Moreover, I’ve been exploring e.l.f.’s skincare line and couldn’t be happier! I’m currently on my fourth bottle of their Holy Hydration! e.l.f. Off Makeup Remover. My eco-friendly routine involves soaking a makeup eraser cloth in hot water, applying the e.l.f. makeup remover, and gently wiping it over my eyes. This method effectively removes my eye makeup, ensuring a thorough cleanse without irritation.
Switching from Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover to e.l.f.’s Holy Hydration! e.l.f. Off Makeup Remover has been a smooth transition. I encourage everyone to give e.l.f. products a chance, as they might surprise you!
The Secret Weapon: Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes
The Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes is a beloved tool among makeup artists for a reason! It’s not only exceptional for setting under-eye concealer but can also be used to set mascara. Additionally, I adore using it to blend out the edges of eyeshadow, ensuring that my looks remain bright yet cohesive. This versatile powder is a must-have in any makeup kit!
Final Thoughts on the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette
I am genuinely enjoying the Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette so far! The matte shades are effortlessly buildable and blend seamlessly on the skin. The shimmer shades boast remarkable pigmentation, ensuring a stunning finish for any look. I was pleased to find that my Valentine’s Day makeup lasted an impressive 10 hours without fading, maintaining its vibrant appearance throughout the day. The cool-toned pinks within this palette complement my fair, cool-toned complexion beautifully, making it a staple in my makeup routine.
Unveiling the Magic of Urban Decay Vice Lip Bond Glossy Longwear Liquid Lipsticks
I can’t emphasize enough how much I adore the Urban Decay Vice Lip Bond Glossy Longwear Liquid Lipsticks! They have quickly become my go-to formula when I want a glossy yet long-lasting lip color. Shock Value, in particular, is the perfect pink that complements my Wicked Widow Beauty Lovesick Palette look flawlessly.
This year, I also gifted these liquid lipsticks, along with Silk Naturals Super Fruit Lip Masks, to several friends, sharing the love of this fabulous product. My current favorites from Urban Decay also include the Stay Naked Hydromani
